Good overall experience. Room, grounds were all clean and well kept. Staff was very helpful and polite. We had an issue with kids running up and down hallway at 7am Saturday morning. Inconsiderate of family. Hotel staff should have addressed.

This hotel was very clean and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The pool was a little small but efficient for a short stay. Great breakfast included.

The rooms are very small. If you sit in the lobby you can hear the people in the pool. The staff was very nice and attentive. I like the breakfast choices. The hotel needs more suites with an enclosed bedroom.

“luke warm”

The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and bright the shower was roomy and had a deluxe shower head. the tv was oddly placed not easily viewed from the couch or the bed. the pool was very small and needed towels a both swims. Sunday breakfast was the biggest issue, not enough food,coffee, or room to get your food and most annoying a place to sit and eat

“Not best choice for families”

We stayed at this Springhill suites Albany-Colony thinking it would be a good 1/2 way point on our trip from CT to Cooperstown. This hotel is probably more suited for a business trip, not a family trip. We chose this hotel because it had a pool for our son to enjoy. We did not use the pool as it was the smallest pool I've ever seen, probably 9' x 11', more like a hot tub. We also chose this hotel because they offer breakfast, which usually saves our family a lot of time when vacationing. Not the case here, the breakfast room was packed with people so there was absolutely no place to sit if you did happen to get any food or coffee. Breakfast hours are 7-9, we arrived at 8:15 and there was no caffeinated coffee or sausage available. After bringing it to the attendants attention, neither was re-filled. Besides that, the room was very modern and comfortable. Good location, 1 1/5 hours from Baseball Hall of Fame. Not the best choice for a family trip, more business travel oriented.

“Misled”

When I booked this hotel I was told by the c.s.rep that the suite had a door. That was one of my concerns since I had my step daughter and my daughter with us. My husband and I decided to take this suite based on that. We also wanted some privacy. But to our surprise when we checked in the front desk rep told us they were no doors in any of the suites separating the bedroom from the living area.
