“Affordable Hotel”

Can't complain at all. Got a really good price. Freindly staff

“Okay for an overnight quick trip.”

The room was comfortable, but didn't have a blow dryer or coffee pot. Had a refrigerator! They had breakfast available for us at 5 AM. Usually it isn't available until 6:30, but the manager was kind enough to have coffee and pastries for us at that early hour.

“Cheap and well placed”

This is no luxury hotel. Its a bed to sleep in and a tv to relax at night. It is located pretty centrally to many things that you would want to do in and around the Albany area. 1 street and about 10 min will take you into the heart of Albany. I recommend it.

“Cheap place for early morning ALB flights”

Room was clean but a little run down. It's a good place to stay if you have an early flight out of ALB as it's just minutes from the airport and very cheap. If you want top notch services, you'll be disappointed.

“Avoid this one”

Room was quite shabby and reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Half the lights didn't work. Carpet, refrigerator, microwave were dirty.

“Albany NY Review”

The location of the hotel on Route 5 in Colonie/Albany was convenient. The room itself was a bit dirty, the fixtures were old and the bed was a bit grimey. If you just need a cheap place to sleep off a main route for a few days or passing through town, it works. Otherwise the hotel is in need of some modernization. We were pleased to see a flat screen TV and WiFi in the room, however the cleanliness and other fixtures/characteristics of the room were stuck somewhere in the 1980's.

“Albany 8 Motel”

The hotel is really dirty and poorly maintained - I have stayed in other Super 8 before and they were much nicer. The owner tried to cut costs in any possible way - including the necessary things. While you will be happy to see that the breakfast is included, the reality is different: it basically does not exist. I will never recommend anybody to stay in this motel - or at least it should cost as a hostel.

“Not impressed”

The beds were poorly made. The cable connection was poor making it difficult to watch TV. There were rust stains in the tub.

“So-so.”

Bargain rate and adequate room. Noisy guests in next room. For a quick, one-night place to sleep while en route to other places, might be okay.

“Cannot recommend”

I found this hotel to be so dirty that I was not able to spend even one of the two nights I had reservations for there. I am a veteran camper, but the bugs that greeted me outside the door were just too much to take.
