“Worst hotel ever!!”

The hotel was disgusting!! I would never stay in this hotel, we checked it, saw the condition of the hotel, found another hotel and checked out of this horrible, unsafe place. Would not recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!!

“Albany NY Review”

The location of the hotel on Route 5 in Colonie/Albany was convenient. The room itself was a bit dirty, the fixtures were old and the bed was a bit grimey. If you just need a cheap place to sleep off a main route for a few days or passing through town, it works. Otherwise the hotel is in need of some modernization. We were pleased to see a flat screen TV and WiFi in the room, however the cleanliness and other fixtures/characteristics of the room were stuck somewhere in the 1980's.

Area recommendations
This was our first time in the Albany NY so we're not familiar with the area yet. It seems that anywhere off of Route 5 would be a great place to stay. It is a main road that brings you into the heart of the city and links with other state routes and highways. I'm thinking on my next visit to the city we'll stay closer to downtown. There appeared to be a lot of interesting architecture and the city appears to be going through a historical renovation.

“Albany 8 Motel”

The hotel is really dirty and poorly maintained - I have stayed in other Super 8 before and they were much nicer. The owner tried to cut costs in any possible way - including the necessary things. While you will be happy to see that the breakfast is included, the reality is different: it basically does not exist. I will never recommend anybody to stay in this motel - or at least it should cost as a hostel.
