“New York Bar Exam”

I was there for the New York bar exam. Extremely clean bedroom. Very nice staff. Hard to call the name of the street to taxi cabs but the distance to eateries from the hotel was really good. My stay at this hotel was really good.

“Good stay”

Very clean. Breakfast good for the price of the room. Central location. I would go back again.

“Good place to sleep in Albany”

Check in was pleasant and quick. I was given a choice of a 1st or 2nd floor room. The bed was excellent and I slept well for half the cost of other hotels in Albany. Connecting to Wi-fi is easy, breakfast was fine if you are satisfied with cereal, juice, coffee and rolls. I recommend the Super 8 to all but the fussiest travelers.

“Clean motel for airport travelers”

Small cramped room, but clean. I got into airport late and needed a place to crash before traveling on the next day. This motel was inexpensive and clean.

“Okay hotel, good choice for the price”

The only major issue with this place was the fact that the non-smoking rooms and wing (and in fact the whole hotel) smelled like stale cigarette smoke. It wasn't an oppressive thing, and it seemed like the housekeeping staff and so forth did try to clean it up, but it was obvious. Free parking was a nice touch, and the hotel was in a good location (although the directions to it we got off of Google Maps were AWFUL...look out for that and call the hotel rather than rely on them). All in all, a good spot for a one-night budget stay.

“O.K. for the price.”

The Hotel is OK for the price. Located right at the major entrance of the highway 87 and close to Route 9. It is quite and peaceful. Opposite to Friendly Restaurant. You may also find UPS, Dinners, and fast food restaurants within few miles. The only thing I dislike the one bed (double size) room. The room is tiny and the bed is little bit bigger than a twin bed. Do not expect 2 people can sleep comfortably. We need to upgrade to 2 double beds room which is bigger and equipped with microwave and refreigerator.

“Rude Staff and Smelly Hotel”

Had to change rooms due to smoke smell. Front desk staff (gentleman) was rude. Room was clean and bed was comfy but the hallways and grounds were gross.

“Clean and Convenient”

Service was very good. It was clean and convenient but the quality of the accommodations were not as good as I would have liked. The room was small, the carpets were dirty. The breakfast selection was marginal.
