“wrestling weekend in Albany”

The hotel, our room, the staff were all fabulous. My only suggestion would be to provide more support for the breakfast. Each morning that we were there a lot of the breakfast items had been depleted and we had to ask for refills. The coffee also had been finished and not replenished until we asked and the upkeep of the dining area, tables and garbage, could have used a little help.

Beautiful hotel!!!!! Cleanest rooms i have ever stayed in. Our room was upgraded to a beautiful 2 bedroom suite. I would highly recommend anyone traveling in this area to stay at this hotel. Excelent, and helpful staff! Best Hotel stay i have ever had!

“Wow what a pleasant surprise!!”

Of course I expect quality from Marriott but this place far surpassed our expectations! We booked last minute due to impending weather and an early morning appointment @ Albany Medical. We arrived late in the evening, our host asked us our personal preferences, including floor. The room was spacious, complete with immaculate kitchenette with granite countertops, large separate sitting area, multiple closets, and a desk that was so much more... computer space, storage above and floor length closet/storage on either side! Way too many extras to list, this will most certainly be my first choice next time!! Well done Towne Place Suites!!

Room and hotel were new and clean, room layout was great, hotel is not near anything convenient like restaurants.

“A Surprising and Affordable Gem”

We recently (Autumn 2011) at this hotel and were delighted by the overall cleanliness, comfort and convenience of the hotel. While not in downtown Albany, or immediately off the highway, it is worth the extra 5 minutes to get to. We booked our room through Expedia and received a discounted rate. What we got was the equivalent of a 1-bedroom apartment with a queen sized bed, large bathroom, full kitchen, and living area with pull-out sofa bed and desk/workstation. Overall, my wife, 23-yo daughter, and myself were all surprised by the level of quality. We will most definitely consider staying there again the next time we're in the Capital Region.

Ok place. Cheap enough. Dodgy surroundings. Not much to do in the area without a car. One bonus great little bar around the corner. Friendly, great burgers, band playing there the night we stopped in. Biggest issue was while the room was fine I guess, it seemed rather barren and the color scheme...a kind of mustard wasn't such a hot idea. Ok place I guess.
