Great location, nice and quiet, but central.Posted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: The hotel itself is nicely kept up. The rooms are very nicely sized and well maintained, and CLEAN. The staff are really kind.
Cons: The free breakfast is OK, not terrific, but hey, it is free.
Location: It's close by the medical center and a Panera Bread and Starbucks, as well as the Lark Street section of town, a vibrant 10-block district. Cool vibe!
I was in Albany for a 3-day business and hobby weekend, and decided to stay downtown and give the city "a chance," having had some bad experiences there back in the 1990s and 2000s when I would travel there on business a couple times a year. This hotel is really nice for both the business and the pleasure traveler. It's just far enough away from "bad" parts of Albany, and close enough to "nice" / "interesting" parts, to be possibly the best location if you want to be near downtown.

Clean is kingPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
A hotel must be clean. This one exemplifies clean. I've stayed here many times while my daughter was in college in this city a few years ago. The rooms are relatively new, so are still bright and cheery. The colors help a lot to make it so. Everything is modern and the lines are clean, sharp and aesthetically pleasing. Plus did I mention clean? The neighborhood isn't great, but it is quiet.

Nice hotelPosted May 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
Went for childs graduation, although I looked for a hotel with plenty of time, most were already booked. I never stayed here before, but was pleased. I stayed in a Queen suite, all that was left. The room was very big, had a small full kitchen, I had no use for it, but if I did it was there. Bed was comfortable, pillows as well. Nice flat screen TV in each room. No food, or room service.

Would go back!Posted Apr 24, 2013
Pros: Shuttle and service.
Location: Able to walk to center.
The service was better than expected. Their shuttle service is superbe. We didn't expect it. They went out of their way to pick us up late at the restaurant. Very nice employees.

Will definitely stay here againPosted Apr 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Loved my stay. Not sure if it was just luck that I had separate bedroom, kitchen, and living space. Wish I could have stayed longer!
