Dated but above standard

Pros: Convenient to airport. Located on main road. Easy access to all destinations.
Cons: Not shabby but needs updating. Especially lighting.
Comfortable standard over night accommodation. Not lavish but serves the purpose..

Two nights of terror

Cons: A complete gutting of each Room.
Location: That was the best part of my stay, that I was close to the things I wanted.
I had stayed there last year , and from one year to the next a major disappointment. The first room I was given had a broken air conditioner. The second room had an air conditioner that was giving off a bad musty smell. I am truly sorry that I chose that hotel for my vacation. I can assure you that I will never stay at any travel lodge ever again.

Pros: Price, location...right across street from Colonie Mall and nearby restaurants
Cons: Improve/enlarge breakfast area...do not cleanup before 1000 Hrs and remove breakfast items...some people were coming down at 0945 Hrs...
Location: Shopping Mall and restaurants
Good Price, nice room...toilet was slow to flush and sink faucet controls (Hot and Cold), were reversed...Hot was on the Cold side and vice-versa...sink was partially plugged...took awhile to drain. Breakfast area was not very big and filled up quickly with no room to eat...breakfast served 0600-1000 Hrs. Waffles ran out at 0930 on our 1st day and they would not fill it up...ran out of Jam on the 2nd day...only had 1 jar and no other was available???

Poor Choice

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Obviously, housekeeping is a problem. Sheets on bed were "threadbare" and badly in need of replacement. Overall impression very poor.
Location: Across from major shopping center and not far off the NY Thruway however not really an "airport hotel" as advertised---3.6 mile cab ride away.
We stayed two nights. Room was not cleaned after first night (bed unmade, wastebasket un-emptied, towels on floor---no clean towels etc.). Upon arrival at ALB airport shortly after 6P, airport shuttle had "stopped" necessitating a $16 cab ride to hotel (so much for "complimentary airport shuttle"). General impression is of a hotel in "decline"---aging, in need of paint and repair. First room assigned reeked of cigarette smoke and had dirty cups stuffed with used towel paper on sink. Fortunately, we were able to switch to another room but then housekeeping never cleaned it after the first night.

Pros: Quiet, well maintained.
Cons: Soap scum needs to be cleaned better/removed around sink faucet.
A comfortable and quiet place to sleep along my journey.

Breaking promises

Pros: With the way we were treated, I am loath to say anything nice, except that we got a good price.
Cons: Customer service.
Location: The Italian restaurant next door had excellent food.
We arrived over two hours after check-in time, yet our room was not ready. We had dinner and returned over an hour later, and, although we were told the room was ready, the trash liners were not placed, and there was old water in the ice bucket. The room seemed clean, but with these unfinished items I had to wonder about the sheets and towels. The young lady at the front desk, although polite, offered no consolation in her tone, nor did she offer any kind of discount, coupon, or any type of compensation for our trouble. I don't remember if she even apologized, but if she did it was brief and insincere. The thermostat was either not working, or was not set up for customer control.

Worst place in Albany!

Pros: ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!
Cons: EVERYTHING
THE ROOM WAS NOT READY FOR A 3PM CHECK IN BECAUSE THE CLEANING STAFF WAS STILL WORKING. THE ROOM WAS SHABBY THE RUG WAS WET AND THE TV IS FROM ANOTHER DECADE. THE TISSUE BOX FELL OFF THE WALL AND BROKE WHEN I CLOSED THE BATHROOM DOOR. THE BEDDING WAS AS CHEAP AS IT COMES . THE STAFF WAS AS BAD AS THE DECOR AND KNEW NOTHING ABOUT HOSPITALITY!

Experience was ok once we were able to get your room. It took over an hour to get the room. They kept saying the cleaning staff was running behind and rooms are not ready.
