Great little place near Sand Mountain

Excellent staff!! Very comfortable rooms and wonderful amenities. Plenty of shopping and local attractions within minutes.

THE PRICE IS RIGHT BUT THE HOTEL NEEDS MAINTENANCE

Location: Lake Guntersville and its associated parks are nearby. Restaurants include chains such as Cracker Barrel, Huddle House, Waffle House, McDonald's, etc
As hotels age, things begin to wear. To maintain a hotel's freshness, steps must be taken to make certain that little things such as burned out or missing lights are fixed. The staff at Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Albertville is very friendly and more than eager to please.Despite that, every time we've stayed there over the past year, every room we've stayed in has had at least one burned-out light. The shower rod in on of the rooms we stayed in is installed at an angle that guarantees that the shower curtain cannot remain closed, thus ensuring that water will end up on the floor. The television [at least the one in our room] is set up so that the number "4" appears on-screen, no matter what station you're watching. The battery in the remote must have been ready to expire, because it sometimes took several attempts to change channels. Management needs to step up and take a serious look at the rooms in the property, fixing these minor irritations which

Within 30 Minutes of Tigers For Tomorrow

Pros: The price and cleanliness of the room.
Cons: The pillows. Took hard and fluffy.
Location: Within 30 minutes of Tigers for Tomorrow, several places to eat nearby, flea market a few miles northeast, beautiful country scenery.
Clean room, good price, would definitely stay again when I'm in the area. Eating places within walking distance in addition to free breakfast.

Are we in Japan?

The room was extremely small! There was room enough to walk on either side of the bed and some at the foot of the bed (if you didn't use the chair at the desk area). There was a window seat that I guess a 3rd person could sleep on, but it was a bit narrow. When we walked in the room the first thing my husband said was "This is like being in Japan!!"

Stormy night in Guntersville

Easy access to hotel, with excellent front desk staff. Hotel was located near area restaurants, grocery store and other business. Room was clean, well furnished with adequate linen. One of the queen beds had a mattress that needed to be replaced, had a sump in the middle. Adequate parking, a quality breakfast bar with cereal, bagels, coffee and biscuits and gravy.

Wendy at the front desk was very nice and helpful! No problem getting extra blankets. Stayed in pet room and it was very clean, no previous pet odor. Breakfast wasnt great but enough to get your day started.

hard to find sign

Everything was great but the sign and turn were hard to spot. Other than that, the price was ok for two nights. Will consider booking again my next trip to visit,much better than the competition.
