Nice hotel for the price

Posted Jul 21, 2014
The room was comfortable and clean. We didn't have towels in our room and when we asked the housekeeper, she said she was out and walked away. The swimming pool area didn't have towels either. We asked three employees until someone brought us only two towels for my family of 4 and none for the other guests. Besides the apparent towel shortage, the stay was great!

Nice to University of New Mexico

Posted Jul 10, 2014
What a wonderful staff! We came in to tour the campus. The staff was courteous and got us to where we needed to go. No rental car needed. They picked us up at the airport, got us to our campus tour, and picked us up from campus and brought us back to the airport. Staff was wonderfully kind and helpful! The room was clean. Breakfast was delicious! No problems to note!

Visiting daughter for birthday

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: Staff, room, swimming pool.
Cons: Second floor air conditioning in the back buildings. Laundry room to get repaired.
Location: Location to airport and major sight seeing opportunities is central. We had lived in Abq. for some years and knew where we wanted to go.
Our stay at the Best Western was great once we found our room. When we checked in; the individual at the front desk told us our room was in the building behind the main building. We went out back to the other lot and there were several buildings. After our third attempt to find our room in one of the buildings we finally made it.. Unfortunately, two of our party were seniors (one in their 70's) which was very difficult for them to have to walk up and down a total of 6 flights of stairs in 90 degree weather. The other issue was the hallways on the second floor were not air conditioned. Beyond the check in process; the rest of our stay was great. Free breakfast was good; staff was very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Concern

Posted Jun 29, 2014
The parking spaces are small. Also when we returned from our outing the rp was clean but the door to the room was not secure. We did not notice anything missing but my prescription narcotic medication was my concern. A learning experience was not to leave anything in the room.

Close,close,close.

I flew into Albuquerque and was picked up by hotel shuttle.I had no problem checking in and the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. I wasn't spending anytime in town but it was close to a lot of stuff and also easy to get to off the freeway. Breakfast was good and the young lady attending kept everything clean and refilled.

Fine enough but nothing to brag about!

For a Best Western, I was expecting a hotel in better condition. I felt that that the front desk was not clean and messy.

Best Western Airport Albuquerque

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Customer Service. Very little parking available.
We made our reservation through Expedia. The room was listed as a suite, king bed with pull out sofabed. We got 2 queen beds in a regular hotel room. They told us all their rooms are "suites" which they are NOT! The staff did not care at all that we did not get the room we requested. They said they were sorry but you could tell they were hardened to having to say this and could have cared less about customer service. They did nothing to compensate us for getting the wrong room. Expedia did credit us for the nights we wanted to cancel. The hotel smelled musty which is unusual in a very dry climate area. We went through a different online company and found a delightful place to stay in Albuquerque which made our trip great! We will never stay in a Best Western hotel again and will question whether to go through Expedia again.
