“We had a very pleasent stay.”

It was as nice as I had hoped. It's a beautiful,clean and well kept old house. Tammy and staff were great. I just loved the fresh baked cookies. I hope we get to stay there again.

Area recommendations

Nob Hill is very interesting, as is Old Town.

Dining

Many good places to eat. If the waitress asks"red or green"? She is asking what color salsa you would like. The locals I met all say, "both".

“Definitely would return”

Our stay at Brittania was outstanding. We weren't looking for a spa atmosphere, golf course or fancy restaurant. We wanted a "home" feel and we got what we wanted. The B&B was cozy, clean and the staff (owners) were very gracious. They provided a wonderful breakfast every day we were there. They were also willing to provide information about sightseeing, restaurants, etc. Their restaurant recommendations were spot on. If we were to return to Albuquerque this would be our first choice for lodging.

Traveler's tip

The food in New Mexico is fabulous if you like Southwestern food. It is so much better than the "Mexican" food we get in California. Next time we come to New Mexico however we would spend more time in Santa Fe as Albuquerque is not a destination city. Not much there other than the restaurants.

“relaxed in Albuquerque”

Very relaxing casual place. The staff were helpful while remaining unobtrusive. All needs were met. Good food and atmosphere for meals. Will return if we ever go back to visit.

“Okay if traveling light”

On arrival no one was available to help with our luggage. The stairs were steep and we were packed for a week. The rooms were hot at night. The windows were open but there was no way to adjust the temperature. However, the rooms were nice and the breakfast buffet very good.
