We enjoyed our stay at the Clubhouse

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Our family had a very good experience at the Clubhouse. The room was clean and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Ron and Chris for being especially nice to my son! We really enjoyed the pool, and Chris kept it totally clean. The free drink in the evening was a nice plus, and it was great being able to eat at the grill. There were china mugs for the coffee in the room (always a nice surprise instead of styrofoam). Overall, an excellent experience.

Great Hotel Find

Posted Aug 18, 2014
All the times I had stayed in Albuquerque I had never known about this place. I was going to be in town on business travel and needed a place where I would feel comfortable for a week. The rooms were nice, the beds were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Although the biscuits served at breakfast were a bit stale I liked that the hotel offered a full breakfast. This hotel is located right off of I-25 so it was very convenient. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I would stay again.

Good value clean hotel

Good value for money, we even got two drink vouchers each and free breakfast. Staff helpful and pool OK. We only stayed one night, but it met our needs.

Budget friendly in ABQ

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness is always our top priority when staying away from home, and The Clubhouse Inn was excellent in its cleanliness.
Cons: Schedule more than one person to work the breakfast area when there are many people booked at the inn.
Location: Very close to shopping/restaurants at Old Town, University of New Mexico, the Albuquerque Zoo/Aquarium/Botanical Gardens. The zoo is fabulous!
This place is clean and comfortable while easy on the budget. The front desk personnel were delightful. The breakfast was delicious with many options. Unfortunately the 3 mornings we were there, only one person was working the breakfast while it was quite crowded, so there was a significant wait time for everything---clean bowls, clean silverware, various food items that had run out, etc. In 3 mornings we never saw the breakfast attendant clean any of the tables, either, because she was so busy with food prep and dish washing. The food was great, though, and since we were not in a hurry, it really wasn't an inconvenience to wait.

Algae in the pool

Posted Jul 31, 2014
We chose this hotel for its pool when we arrived the pool was closed due to algae! The kids were very disappointed The breakfast was pretty good and the room was decent. It certainly wasn't worth the money

It is a nice hotel.

Posted Jul 28, 2014
We got there early and they checked us right in. They put my mom close to the door and downstairs as she has a hard time walking. We requested a Garden View. The Garden View faces the pool where EVERYONE meets and grills. This turned out to be a little on the noisy side as we were there on a Saturday night. The free breakfast was good, with lots of choices. Overall, it was a good place to stay, and I would recommend it.

Disappointing considering the price

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The pool was clean.
The entrance was dirty and floor sticky. The room smelled like cigarette smoke. When we told housekeeping they sprayed scented fragrance to cover the smell.

Perfect hotel, stay here!

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Staff attitude
Cons: Nothing, seriously!
Location: We went to the isotopes baseball game (our first) which was a 10 minute drive away
Wasn't initially sure about this hotel as it was located between busy roads. First thing to note was how friendly and helpful the staff were. We passed by the managers office whose door was open, in the UK time guarantee they would have kept their head down but this guy made a point of welcoming us. The exterior of the hotel appears to have been recently painted as was very smart especially in the courtyard area, rooms are a good size clean and comfortable. The pool is in the central courtyard and was amazingly tranquil with no road noise and set amongst pine trees. Nice points included a free welcome drink and free popcorn. Great hotel, highly recommended and amazingly good value
