Why can do the front waiting area? It smells like human urine then they shock you with $100 deposit. All of a sudden once you get up to the counter, which is BS got bug bites from the beds back door to get in and out of to get to the room is broken, great place if you’re a crackhead

Paul, I understand you were upset about the deposit. If you look on the Expedia web site it does tell you about the deposit. Please read all the print when making reservations. By the way we do not rent to crackheads.

So checkout is at 11 am but they will bother you starting at 9 am. They knock and then they open the door. That’s unsafe. No staff member should open the door before 11 am. We don’t know their background or intentions. I would not suggest going there with children, child trafficking is very real. The staff gives me very that kind of vibe.

Thank you Salvador, I can assure you staff does not knock on doors until 11:10am. All employees do a background check as well as random drug screens. The staff here is a great staff, I am sorry if you got a vibe.

My stay here was pretty good. I was on a business trip and stayed in another hotel for the previous two days, but did not like my stay there, so when I had to extend my trip an extra night I chose this hotel and was pleased. The other hotel had a run down chair; this hotel had a nice, new-looking plush chair. The other hotel didn't set the clock; this hotel did. The other hotel had light fixtures that didn't work; all the fixtures in this hotel worked. The other hotel took the breakfast utensils away too fast and I had to eat yogurt with a fork; this hotel provided plenty of spoons for my yogurt. The other hotel gave no indication online that there was a $100 hold on the credit card; this hotel informed prospective customers right up front online about it so there were no surprises. The only thing I didn't like was that the check-in wait was too long. That's actually kind of a positive for this hotel because that means it's so popular, but I was tired when checking in, like most people are, and was sixth in line to check in. Not the hotel's fault, though, that they're popular. Overall I liked this hotel, their staff and their breakfast. I will stay there again when I return to Albuquerque, and would recommend it to others.

Staff was nice no issues there. When you walk in though there’s an overwhelming clean smell of bleach mixed with something else and that’s throughout the whole building. You have to get use to the smell for it to “go away”. I killed 3 cockroaches in my room. I know they are all over in general being New Mexico . But they highly need to spray or bomb the place. In the morning when I woke up and moved my covers there was a small one in my bed. I felt very dirty. I didn’t give a one star due to the staff.

There is no elevator! I was on the second floor and had to drag a hundred pound suitcase upstairs! Once inside the room I found a floor that needed to be be swept and a broken mirror. I will NEVER use this hotel again!

I'm trying to be objective and not compare this to a better quality hotel. For the hotel category and area it's in, it's probably an average hotel. It was decently clean, and they had a few things for breakfast. The rate is super affordable so I get the no frills, but it desperately needs some updates. Everything looks ancient and dingy.

The room was clean and beds extremely comfortable. But the door clearly had been kicked in and poorly repaired. The neighborhood has a lot of homeless people and although the parking lot is gated, the gate was not closed. There are not a lot of choices for dinner close by.

Pros: The staff was pleasant, the breakfast was decent (loved the green chili), plenty of parking and was well lit, the room was clean and updated. Cons: The hallways were not updated and smelled like smoke, freeway noise could be heard in room along that side, deposit took too long to refund.

I was happy with my stay here. The breakfast was better than many other hotels I have stayed at in the area. My biggest disappointment was that this hotel listed laundry services on Expedia, but that's not true, so had to spend a couple of hours at a laundromat.

Overall the place is nice and clean. Love that it’s completely hard flooring and has gated parking. Area around the hotel is questionable, would not recommend walking around alone.

Stayed here for a night after arriving in Albuquerque. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Hot shower with good water pressure. Breakfast in the morning was pretty simple, but the Green Chile was back so that was nice. There is gated parking and from the short time I spent there, everything seemed great for the price.

We have stayed here several times just for the convenience of getting on the Interstate in whatever direction we are going. Each experience has been different. Some rooms are nicer & cleaner then others. Most of them need to be updated. The floors that have been done, were done poorly. This last room was bad. Floor was dirty, closet mirror was dirty. Tub & refrigerator was all cracked up. The room smelled like piss. The best thing was the king size bed was very comfortable. We don't have anything good to say about their free breakfast, which has gone down hill since last year.

There were police there the 1st night, second night the room next door has a domestic violence incident staff never called police they just knocked on that door and said they had several calls and they needed to quiet down they did that twice the guests did not quiet down for over 4 hours . I asked for a refund they said they didn't have that authority
