Clean and well maintainedPosted Mar 8, 2014
Pros: Very clean, easy to get into and out of the parking lot. Beds were soft, and breakfast was good for a more economy-rated hotel.
Cons: Maybe try to make it feel a little more secure. The front of the hotel faces a small neighborhood where all the houses have bars on the windows.
Location: Very close to downtown and Central Ave (Old Rt. 66) with local shopping and restaurants.
The hotel was right next to I-25 on the edge of the downtown area, but was much quieter than I expected it to be. We were able to pick our preferred floor since it was not a busy time of year, and the staff were very friendly. The only complaint I had was about the guests across the hall that thought it was okay to prop their door the whole way open and have very loud conversations most of our first evening there. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay.

We stay at this hotel often, great staff great everything! If only I couldn't hear when the people next door breath, this place would be perfect!

Nice Hotel, Convenient to AirportPosted Feb 4, 2014
Nice hotel. Being remodeled and is very nicely styled. Rooms are comfortable and stylish as well. Nice hotel staff. Rooms can be a bit noisy is neighbors are loud and inconsiderate. Overall recommended.

Another expedia fail!Posted Jan 24, 2014
We reserved a suite with 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. We got a king bed and a pull out for six people! They did bring us 2 roll away beds. But they weren't comfortable, of course. The rooms were spacious. The tv where the 1 bed was didn't work. Not enough towels and we had to ask for bedding more than once for the pull out and roll away beds.

Close to freeway accessPosted Jan 10, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, good food and comfortable. Great value for the money.
Cons: Upgrade wall coverings and carpets
Location: Easy access to old town, university and on the way to Santa Fe.
Arrived late evening but was greeted quickly. This is an older hotel, but clean, quiet and with full services. Breakfast was terrific. Room was quiet and comfortable.

Generally a good place to stay.Posted Jan 9, 2014
Pros: The brand and I always know what to expect.
Cons: The room I stayed in...room 326 needs a bit of updating...carpet, TV, fix the air vent...other than that it was fine.
I have stayed at many Country Inn & Suites for work and for holiday. I decided to stay at this one because my destination was suffering from the January 2014 arctic vortex that made Kansas and the rest of the Midwest an unpleasant destination. The receptionist in the lobby was excellent and provided outstanding customer service and was very welcoming. The breakfast and amenities are quite good. My particular room however, (1 King-bed) looked like it needed a bit of updating and the air-vent in the bathroom was quite loud. All in all though everything was OK and I would stay there again on my way back to the West Coast during the summer months.

Conveniently locatedPosted Jan 4, 2014
Pros: staff, convenient location
Cons: wipe-downs in gym (for cleaning of equipment after use)
Conveniently located close to airport. However, NO airport shuttle (incorrectly stated on Expedia web site)
