“great visit”
This is an excellent Courtyard property. Our family of 4 had ample space in a 2 queen room. The front desk, restaurant, and bar staff were all very accomodating. We had a large group for breakfast in the restaurant and our waitress could not have been better. The front desk had extra towels delivered to our room in just a few minutes. The courtyard was beautiful, and a great spot to have coffee and read the paper (free NY Times, USA Today, and 50 cent local ABQ paper!) The lap pool and workout facility were well equipped and clean. The "cucumber water" and lemonaid in the lobby were a nice refreshing touch. It is well located just off Paseo del Norte and I-25, convenient to downtown, old town, Sandia Peak, and a head start toward Santa Fe. We were in town for a wedding with other out of town family and friends, we stayed 3 nights, and we could not have chosen a better place to stay.
“Had a great stay”
The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I will gladly return to this hotel on my next visit to Albuquerque.
“Look forward to staying in this hotel”
When I go to Albuquerque, I stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Journal Center. It's extremely clean, quiet, and employees are wonderful.
“Worth the visit”
Good place to stay. Lot of stuff happening on weekends.
“Nice hotel for the price; will stay again”
We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past as a "halfway" stooping point on our trips to Denver and have always enjoyed our stay. This time we were surprised to see that they were renovating the rooms. Our room had already been completed. It has a very comfortable bed, with a feather comforter, and 4 pillows per bed. It also had a flat screen TV. The room was clean and fresh. The indoor pool was clean and nice to relax in. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant this time but have in the past and the food and service was always good. Great place to stay, convenient..will stay there again.
“Top of the line.”
Lobby ambience reflective of the Southwest art community -- relaxed, simple, authentic, tasteful. Restaurant a little pricey.
“If Albuquerque is on your route this is a very good stop.”
Very decent hotel for an overnight stay
“Comfortable and affordable”
Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff was responsive. The only down side was the internet required a sign on confirmation so my hubby wasn't able to use his Xbox online, which was the plan while I was in class. That's not typically something we think about when booking a hotel. Overall, a very nice hotel. It is a little hard to spot from the highway.
“Good business hotel, friendly, good breakfast”
I stayed here one night for business. Friendly service. Breakfast buffet was great, including biscuits and gravy. Free WiFi which worked like a charm.
“Remodeling Underway”
While we were there, they were upgrading the rooms on the 4th floor where we stayed. There was a bit of inconvenience with the remodeling, but the new rooms look great and will be even better than the one we stayed in. The beds were comfortable and we rested well.
