Awful ManagerPosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: Good location.
Location: Right in a great part of ABQ.
Upon arriving everything seemed fine, I signed the paper and said what car would be in the parking lot. The manager didn't go over anything with us and sent us on our way. The second day we were staying there (4 of us in a 2 queen room) we got a call from the manager yelling over the phone saying he watched us on the security cameras going up and we "had to be out in 10 minutes, no visitors! only two in your room!) So I went down to the desk like he should have asked in the first place.. instead of yelling over the phone. Where he proceeded to say that only two people were supposed to be in that room and no visitors were allowed (as hes yelling). I had to ask HIM what I could do and explain that there were four of us. He never suggested any thing besides us "getting out". So I had to pay more money (Which I was fine with doing, if that was supposed to be the actual cost for 4 people). He was still angry, swiped my card, and we went on our way. It was absolutely ridiculous. This man needs a class in customer service and how to handle situations because this was just ridiculous. I had no problem paying more if that was supposed to be the cost. He could have asked us to come down and try to figure out what was going on instead of screaming over the phone and telling us we had to get out.

Third time's more than a charm!!!Posted Oct 11, 2013
Pros: Soft, comfortable beds, water quality of bath and shower. Didn't try the exercise room, but looked terrific just the same.
Cons: I have no complaints or improvements at all.
Location: Just off of I-40 and N. Eubank road onto the Hotel Row. Plenty of shopping and/or dining with all varieties (Twister's - always a great place to eat)
We always enjoy the comfort of the Days Inn on the NE side, due to its closeness to our family and friends. The breakfast room is always prepared nicely, and free USA Today newspapers, along with other choices to browse. First time we were here, there was a problem with one of the steps up to the second floor that I brought to the manager's attention. When we returned a year later, the steps were not only corrected, but completely redone!! I had no problem in letting the entire staff know that this was so terrific, and I'm sure for many others who have hit that step the wrong way.

Overall for the price it was okay. The beds were comfortable. However, the sheets were stained. The pool closed early, opened late, and was very dark.

Great Stay!Posted Aug 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
It was in good condition, clean, and conveniently located to the military base. Right next to a Target, if you need anything. Breakfast was small (cereal, apples, coffee), but that seems standard for most hotel breakfasts so I planned ahead and brought some breakfast bars. I would definitely stay here again if we're in the area again.

This hotel has gotten run down.Posted Aug 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
For $70 a night, I hoped to get a little bit more than Motel 6 quality of stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, but that was the extent of the positives with this stay. There were cigarette burns in the blanket on the bed. The floor was dirty, there was a huge gap between the wall and the air conditioning/heater unit. The pool and hot tub area was dark and a little concerning. Not the hotel's fault, however the folks staying next to me were quite rude. The other guests were loud and permitted their dog to bark next door to me until 9:50 at night. This was on a Wednesday night also, made getting any sleep pretty much impossible. I would not stay here again.

This hotel is in my old neighborhood where we wanted to stay, The Owl Cafe is across the street and has great food. I was perfect for our needs.
