Old town Albuquerque.

Posted Aug 26, 2014
Pros: The room, walking distance to restaurants and dancing.
Cons: Knowing what the rate is going to be.
First thing is, I though I was paying something close to $130.00 for 2 nights, it ended up over $200.00, so beware when they say the hotel adds on to any booking through Expedia. Everything else, we liked our stay, down town Albuquerque is developing into something good, we'll stay downtown again if we go back

Trying to be fancy but not quite there

Posted Aug 19, 2014
Pros: The shuttle service.
Cons: They need to pay a little extra attention to the details. And get the Room Service Dept a lot more organized.
Location: Downtown location is nice and conveniently close to Central.
The beds were very nice and comfortable. Other than that, the room was just OK. Some parts were really clean but other parts were had been completely missed. We ordered room service twice and both times it never arrived. After trying to reach someone in Room Service several times, I finally talked to a very nice and helpful man that resolved the problem. The pool area is not very comfortable or inviting. The tables in the bar/lounge area were dirty and so wobbly that I was afraid they would fall apart. Staff were all friendly especially the front desk and the shuttle driver. The parking lot gave me absolutely no sense of security and is not worth the parking fee.

Adequate rooms. Nice gym. Small pool but clean. Consumers would be no free breakfast and/or parking.

Nice hotel, staff were great.

Posted Aug 5, 2014
Pros: Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. The shuttle service was excellent.
Cons: The Starbucks wasn't well stocked and closes too early. It would have been nice to get a coffee after 1pm.
Location: Not much to do close by the hotel but the shuttle service took us where we wanted to go and picked us up.
Front desk attendant Debbie was super helpful and so pleasant to talk to. The only downside was the keys to my room weren't working properly, I had to keep running up and down to get my key cards re activated. Great location for the convention I was attending at the Convention Center.

Not what you expect for a Hilton

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Lobby, parkingok
Cons: Clean, more attention in clean details in rooms.
Location: downtown
Carpet dirty with a lot of spots, bathroom ultra tiny,TV Satellite plate lost signal all the time just a few channels, Bath tub clogged , I called front desk but they did not do anything about it. Housekeeper ok they did a good job .But the hotel has to put more attention in clean details, I do not going to use a Hilton again.

OK downtown hotel near convention center

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Good happy hour prices on food and drinks in the bar area. Good downtown location.
Cons: Rooms need to be upgraded in many ways (see above).
Location: Good location next to convention center if you have business or an event there.
It served its purpose since we were going to a concert at the convention center next door. Room itself was OK, but had a few issues. Very noisy AC unit that didn't really cool too well. TV had no HD signal and picture was not good. Bed was too soft but with plenty of pillows. Bathroom was fine. I think Doubletree needs to focus more on room quality than their famous cookie.

Clean

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Upon our arrival there was no parking. We had to park on a back street next to a meter and get up by 8 a.m. the next morning to move our vehicle in order to avoid meter fees. This was very inconvenient. The room was nice but did need updates. The cover from our air unit in the floor just fell off during the night. It scared me because of the loud noise it made. For the price the rooms definitely need some work. It was clean and the staff was friendly.
