“room mixup”

Big mixup with smoking vs nonsmoking room. Make sure you request nonsmoking when you make the reservation or else they will give you a smoking room. Had difficulty working with the staff. They finally aggreed to give me a nonsmoking room that had to be an upgrade, due to the unavailibility of one at the reserved rate. But it was painful process. Otherwise our stay was fine.

“Under construction-Dingy”

I stay at Fairields often as a Marriott Elite member. Not only b/c it is under construction, but the rooms and hallways are terribly outdated and "cold" feeling....nothing like my last few experiences at Fairfield. in addition, upon check-in, the toilet very OBVIOUSLY had not been cleaned and I had to call the desk to have it cleaned as soon as I got in. No alternte room was offered - I was tired so didnt put up a stink about it.
