“Comfortable and clean, good price”

Hampton Inn, Albuquerque North was fine other than I'd never seen a Hampton Inn with outside entry. I'm not really impressed with outside entry places, reminds me of a really cheap motel. The room was large and clean and very quiet - the most important things. The free breakfast was substantial. All in all, a decent hotel for a night.

“Not what we expected”

We were disappointed with this hotel as we were not aware that the room doors had outside entry and it appeared to be an older buidling that had been remodeled in an attempt to make it look updated. Unfortunately it did not meet the quality we were expecting based on our previous experiences with Hampton.

“Albuquerque - Hampton Inn North - Not Impressed”

Room is small, even for a double. Previous smokers had really stunk up the room. Breakfast is nothing special, but they kept the lobby coffee fresh all day long. Recommendation is based only convenience of location. If I were going back to ALB, I'd think "Been there, done that".

“Not Impressed”

The hotel was OK. The actual room was fine but I am always disappointed when an older hotel with exterior doors is remodeled and upgraded by a major chain like Hampton. For a Hampton Inn it was definitely a disappointment. There were positives and negatives. The air conditioner in our room was less than adequate, the bed was great, and the walls were not soundproofed. It sounded like people in the parking lot outside our room were actually in our room and the people in the room next to our room could be easily heard. Balancing everything out it was OK -- I just expected more.

“tight quarters”

Hotel was okay for just one night. The room is very small with 2 double beds a desk and a dresser with t.v. Not a whole lot of room to walk around and the bathroom is even smaller. We used this as a stopover on our way to Flagstaff, and that is all it is good for.
