Not what it's cracked up to bePosted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Location to businesses, indoor pool, COMFY beds
Cons: Cleanliness, renovate pool/hot tub area, some overall updating of rooms
I chose this hotel as a "staycation" because it was in close proximity to the mall and a local businesses. Everything seemed fine until I started looking. I booked the King Evolution Room on Expedia that was supposed to have a whirlpool tub and detachable shower head, I was given the run of the mill room and told Expedia screwed up the ad and booking. They moved me to the room I was meant to get and still disappointed. No detachable showerhead and the tub looked grubby. There was black stuff around the rim of the toilet. Also it said "city view", which turned out to be a view of an Intel plant. I went to the pool at the end of the day and it was pretty gross too. I soon found out that it was past pool hours and was told to leave. That's fine, but there was no one else around and I was just sitting, not even making ripples. They could have been a bit more leinient. They had a breakfast area, but it wasn't included in my room rate. That was okay too because there was a very good breakfast place nearby. Overall, I can gather I won't be staying here again.

Very surprised to find that a Hilton Garden Suites charged for breakfast, disappointing. The breakfast was good but I assumed it was included in the room price. Will not stay there again.

Great location to check out the rest of the ABQPosted Oct 27, 2013
Pros: Everything. Location. Staff. Facilities.
Cons: The dryers need to be fixed.
Location: Old Town, Cottonwood Mall, Breaking Bad film locations (google it!), many nice restaurants and entertainment in all directions.
The facility is clean, nice and safe and located just north of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The hotel is right on Rio Rancho Blvd and if you take that south you will be able to reach any part of the city of Albuquerque as well many places of interest to include the likes of Old Town and the Octopus Car Wash that was known as the A1 car wash in Breaking Bad. Got my car washed there and it was cool to see the many autographed photos of the cast of the Breaking Bad series. There's also the Crossroads Motel across the street from the University of New Mexico downtown. This hotel is right down the street from the Cottonwood Mall, which is New Mexico's largest mall and there are many reservations to the north for those who want to learn more about the Native American culture. Breakfast at the hotel was amazing and I had a burrito that lasted me almost all day as I was out and about. As for washing your clothes, you might be better off at a local laundromat as the dryer takes a while and you might be pressed for time. Not only is this hotel safe, but everyone minds their own business and there are so many things to do the moment you walk out the hotel.

not really for more than one personPosted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: nice modern hotel, a bit dated in the rooms,
Cons: why is it that Hilton hotels seem to think that all guests are single and supply only one coffee bag and one tea bag?, or are they just tight.
Location: lots to do in Albuquerque, super museums, lovely weather, would definitely visit again, but probably a different hotel.
not offered any sort of assistance with our luggage , no maps of local area, road name is different to the one advertised and makes it difficult to find.

It was 2 miles from the wedding I was attending, so I found it very convenient. Loved the Sonic Burger down the road!
