Address listed IS NOT the same as the Road it's on

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Almost what you would expect for Hilton garden Inn
Cons: Correct address listing.
Location: A bit of a hike from Albuquerque
The name of the road on the Expedia listing was not Pat D' Arco Hwy (or Hwy 528). No road signs for Rio Rancho Blvd. I found it with hard work and a little luck.

poor

Pros: the seating in the lobby
I was placed in an accessible room which meant there was no countertop in the bathroom for our stuff. Everything had to be put on the floor on a towel. It was a huge inconvenience. There was no battery cover on the remote and the tv was too small for the room size. We were disappointed with our stay for the price and no complimentary breakfast made it all worse. Terrible stay and never again.

Nice pool for grand kids

Stayed while visiting family on a weekend. Everything was fine except for the cleanliness of the hallways and elevator. Yes, only one elevator because the other was broken. Decent hotel for the money.

Very nice stay

The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was very pleasant, and every morning we were greeted with a "good morning" and a big smile from them. We will stay here every time we come to Rio Rancho NM

No excuses

The hotel lobby is currently under construction and the makeshift check-in area is functional but inconvenient. The breakfast 'buffet' is temporarily housed in a hallway and extremely overpriced - especially considering the remodel. Staff were mildly friendly, but seemingly more focused on conversations with each other than being attentive to the guests. Almost a causal indifference. Room appeared to be clean, but the mattress was horrible. Other guest were quite loud. I have stayed at this hotel several times before over the last 4 years (it is a very convenient location when I visit family in the area) and have seen a gradual deterioration in overall quality. I'm sure things will be beautiful after the remodel is complete in March (at least the lobby and eating area) - but I won't be back to see. Not a quality Hilton experience.

Misleading and inadequate

Posted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Microwave/fridge in the room. That's about all.
Cons: Service, reservation system, restrooms (they need fans), internet, add a tv schedule as a channel.
Location: Starbucks is right next door, mall is close by, but as I said before the city is small enough that you can get to anywhere in 20 minutes...
We booked the "King Evolution" room through Expedia, which was supposed to have a view of the city, jetted tub, and handheld shower head over Valentine's day weekend. When we arrived at our room, there was a view of a back alley and the jetted tub wasn't there either (the restroom didn't even have a fan). We called the front desk and they said that the reservation didn't come through like that and there's nothing they could do about it because they were fully booked. They were also unable to assist with the internet, and when housekeeping came through on Saturday they didn't leave coffee or new towels. We had to call and request them then wait 20 minutes for someone to bring us more. I've stayed at several Hilton Garden Inn's in the past and have never come across one that was so dysfunctional. It's a shame that it happened over Valentine's day; best advice I can give is stay away from this location. Albuquerque is small enough that you can get to everything in about 20 min driving, so stay at one of the other locations or another chain altogether.
