Really was a pleasure staying here, didn't arrive until 1:30am, and the GM still took great care of me. Also an extensive continental breakfast!

Good location

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: Location
I was looking for a nice, reasonably priced hotel near the highway for a place to stay for a night while driving cross country. This place fit the bill! It is nicely located close to the highway with restaurants nearby and a gas station across the street. The room was very comfortable and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to stop here again.

Comfortable

Posted Jul 10, 2014
This is a nice comfortable place to stay with an amazing staff. Went down to get breakfast with my two little boys and had too much to carry. Without even being asked one of the staff ran to me and gave me a tray. What a help. Room was clean except someone had gotten some makeup? On the shower curtain but I could see that getting missed in a cleaning. Overall it was great and we will be staying here again.

Nice hotel close to Pueblo Indian Cultural Center.

Posted Jul 3, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location.
Location: Old town is not far. Pueblo Indian Cultural Center 1/2 block away, near I40.
We found this location a great place for a two night stay. It was close to the Pueblo Indian Cultural Center - restaurant was very good. Also they provided a shuttle to Old Town with a pick up at the hotel. Nice size room, helpful staff, and a good breakfast. Very comfortable stay

Nice and convenient

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: Convenient to I-40, modern decor, clean bathrooms, spacious room, free breakfast
Cons: Our room was a little dingy around the edges. Could use repainting.
Location: The location is convenient to 40, old town, and downtown Albuquerque. It didn't appear to be the nicest area, but Albuquerque in general, is gritty.
Overall, this is a very nice Holiday Inn Express. Very nice, modern decor and a great view of the Sandia Peaks (yes, it's worth the upgrade).

Friendly hotel

Posted Jun 18, 2014
Pros: The staff; large room; complementary breakfast, free parking & wifi.
Location: Twenty min walk from Historic downtown. Lots of Breaking Bad locations within 20 mins drive. Lots of museums. Well located for key areas of city.
We only planned to stay for one night then extended for a further two nights. The staff were very accommodating to our change of plans. We stayed in an Executive King on the 4th floor which was large and comfortable. The hotel seems to be pretty new so everything is in good condition. The free buffet breakfast is surprisingly good!

Room problems

Posted Jun 4, 2014
The first room was too warm & the tv remote needed new batteries. Was given a different room that had the same problem the thermostat stated 60 degrees but the room temperature was at least 75. The tv wouldn't work the next morning.

OKAY!!!

Posted May 13, 2014
Pros: It was clean.
Cons: The coffee at breakfast.
Location: Museum, Zoo, aquarium, botanical gardens.
On arrival I was given a room that smelled like fresh paint. I wanted to hang around to see if the smell would go away but after 4 hours I had to go down to the front desk to address the problem. They immediately moved me to another room on the same floor.Except, for this little problem, my stay was good. I didn't care much for the breakfast, however, when on is travelling with a 10 year old then breakfast at the hotel means much. The coffee needs to be improved. Really not good. There are several places to visit in close proximity. We visited the Indian Museum directly opposite the hotel and the Albuquerque zoo, botanical gardens and aquarium. My son loved the zoo. He said it is the best zoo he has ever visited (we travel a lot). I guess the Tasmanian Devil at the zoo (one of two zoos in the US that has this animal) did it. We were also treated to a toy train show at the botanical gardens. Thanks Guys!!! We wanted to splurge on local food our last night and the hotel staff sent us to Sylvie's (I think). That was an experience.
