Beautiful hotel!Posted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: Great value and stunning features
Cons: Room was cold
Location: Great location, lots to do and see in walking distance.
Huge hotel with tons of charm and beautiful grounds. Staff was very pleasant. I stayed in a suite and the room was very big, bed was comfortable. Only thing I have negative to say is that my room was cold and I had a thermostat but I was not able to get the two a/c units to stop no matter what I did.

Great decour but a few issues with cleanlinessPosted Sep 18, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel lobby is decorated in the Spanish style and very nice. The room was a little small but ok.. the bathroom had no room, not a nice area for toiletries. We ate one night in the hotel restaurant, but the food was ONLY Mexican and my hubby doesn't like a lot of that food. Hair in the bathroom. Refrigerator worked great. Older TV (not the newer kind). Big issue was housekeeping knocked on door at 8AM. There is no tag to put on door for privacy or clean room etc. We told her we were leaving about 9AM and she could come in then. We then left for the entire day returning at 7PM. Imagine our surprise when the door was open and the housekeeping staff was in there laughing. They said they were told to not clean up room until after 6PM ???? We were not too happy and had to wait. We don't understand that at all. The china coffee cups had clear plastic wrap on top and were LOADED with dust. The housekeeping staff did not give us clean glasses or dump out the ice bucket. There are no vending machines and you must go to the gift shop for anything like soda. The last night we were there they had 2 weddings and a bachelorette party going on. Lots of noise etc. But I checked in for my flight and printed the boarding passes in under 2 minutes at the business center so that was terrific.

Convenient access to freeway and Old TownPosted Sep 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stopped overnight on the way from Denver to Phoenix. Very spacious room, excellent meal in hotel restaurant, relaxing atmosphere walking around the grounds. The urban landscape distracted from the view of the mountains, at least from our third-floor room.

Old Town StayPosted Sep 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
We really enjoyed the hotel and restaurant. And because it was very close to old town, we got to enjoy the local music being played in the town square. We really had a blast!

rooms were small and a bit outdated, but the bed was amazingly comfortable. the hotel is worth it simply for the great food at gardunos, the amazing pool, and the close proximity to old town.
