“Impressive stay at Hotel Andaluz”

There isn't anything to improve at Hotel Andaluz. From the valet to the desk staff, everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism. The lobby is stunning with details addressed that I wouldn't have thought of. You can dine in the restaurant or enjoy casual hors d' oeuvres on the overstuffed couches by the fountain. The rooms are small but very clean and comfortable with elegant touches to make guests feel pampered. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Albuquerque.

“The Only Place to Stay in Albuquerque!”

I travel quite a bit and feel as though I have a fairly solid grasp on what makes a great hotel great. Bottom line, I had a superb experience at the Andaluz Hotel! The remodel was extremely well done, with a great mix of the new and the old. The room was spacious, stylish and well appointed and the restaurant did not fail, breakfast, lunch or dinner. I found the staff to be very friendly and feel like I have discovered a true gem of the southwest! I would highly recommend it!

Hotel Andaluz was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the hotel, staff & our room. Few little things that could be improved, but overall a wonderful trip.

“Beautiful hotel!”

My husband and I stayed here for a few days while helping my stepson find an apartment near campus. This was my first visit to Albuquerque so I knew nothing about the area and had to rely on other travelers' reviews and location to find a hotel. As other have commented, Hotel Andaluz has been recently remodelled and the decor is gorgeous, in the lobby as well as the guest rooms. We stayed in a standard queen on the 10th floor and were happy in every way with our room - it was small but not tiny, with a flat screen TV, large desk workstation, and FREE internet. We got a great special rate on Expedia which made us even more enthusiastic. The hotel location was perfect for getting to the university area by car, the airport (minutes away) and Old Town. Other reviewers raised some concerns about the parking, but the public lot behind the hotel was gated and during the day had an attendent on duty. The only real problem with the surrounding area (which is mostly office buildings) is a nearby block or two of bars that attracted a large number of bikers while we were there. The noise at bar closing time was horrendous. Fortunately, the rooms are equipped with sound machines that of course could not mask all the noise but were very effective in minimizing much of the street noise. We won't let that deter us from staying at the Hotel again on our next visit!

“What a wonderful hotel”

We booked the hotel from the car en route. Upon arrival, we learned that tonight was Tango night. We checked in and proceeded to our room. What a surprise with a modern 30's decor and every detail thoughtfully taken care of. We went back downstairs to unwind and watch and listen - a live band - while unwinding from our days journey of 800+ miles. After a good sleep in an extremely comfortable bed, we enjoyed a great breakfast including attentive service. We wandered around the hotel before checking out noticing the unique decor (the owners chess sets displayed in the refurbished room letter/key boxes stands out). We chatted with the Sunday morning staff and you could tell they were proud of their hotel. Will certainly be going back to the Andaluz.

“Amazing hotel, lots of traffic on nights and weekends”

Amazing hotel with great restaurant, bar, and lobby atmosphere. Streets are loud on weekend nights due to a large number of cruisers. It can be difficult to get in/out of the hotel garage on these nights. Rooms can get loud from street noise, so do not stay here or on a low floor if you want to go to bed early. Fantastically clean accomodations.

“First class all the way”

The Analuuz was the first hotel built by Conrad Hilton and passed through many hands until it's most recent $30,000,000 restoration. I make a habit of staying in historic hotels, and this is truly one of the best. Everything was faultless. I highly recommend the hotel restaurant Lucia.

“Great Place to Stay in Downtown Albuquerque”

There is nothing negative to say about this hotel except that it was a little scary when walking outside at night. The restaurant Lucia served excellent food including the mezze (the Lebanese appetizer) and the sea bass dish that I ordered.

“Wonderful hotel!”

A recent trip to visit family is what brought us to this fabulous hotel. Traveling with my husband and 14 and 10 year old children, the hotel was perfect for all of us. Clean, friendly service and beautiful lobby all added to our wonderful stay at the Andaluz. You cannot beat the price for this exceptional hotel!!
