Peaceful retreat after work

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: The history and the remodel of the railroad hospital.
Cons: Begin breakfast at 6:30 am as business people normally need to leave by 7:00 to get to there place of business.
Location: I visited several local restaurants in the area, walked Old Towne, and visited the Sandia Resort, Casino.
I was actually amazed at how much a normal hotel cost per night well exceeded other hotels that I have stayed at which is many as my travel time is at least 3 times a month and it normally 4 nights at each place. This hotel decor was superb on top of the history of the building, fantastic healthy food options that tasted heavenly, and the daily visits to the fireplace, garden, business area, and lounges with comfortable furniture left me with a very relaxed feeling. It was as if on was on vacation and I had to remind myself that I was there for the week to work. THANK YOU!

Consistently impressed

Posted Mar 18, 2014
I've stayed at this hotel on four separate occasions in the last two years, and each stay was great. I've never had any problems with noise, or anything not working in the rooms. Some people don't like the neighborhood but I haven't seen anything to make me worry about my safety, or the security of my car.

Hotel Parq is the nicest hotel in Abq. We stay there when we can get a sitter for the kids. It's proximity to downtown and and Nob Hill can't be beat. the facility is beautiful, comfortable and has a lovely atmosphere.

Great Renovation of Historic Building

Posted Feb 22, 2014
Pros: The history of the building, the quality of the renovation, the friendliness of the staff and a first-class "free" Continental Breakfast.
Cons: I was there on business and could have used more desk / work space.
Location: Right downtown on Historic Route 66 and within walking or short-driving distance of dozens of restaurants.
I travel to Albuquerque 8 to 10 times per year and was in the rut of staying at the same 3-star chain hotel each time. My last trip, I decided to break the string and booked the Parq Central, which has intrigued me ever since I read the history while the building was being renovated. Great experience! The building is beautiful, the room was excellent (although smaller than you might be used to at one of the "suite" hotels) and the staff was very helpful and informative.

Great hotel in the city center

Posted Feb 17, 2014
I was a little scared at first booking the hotel, but then once I walked through the front doors, it was amazing. Our room wasn't ready, but we were offered coffee and a look around the hotel and property. It took all of 5 minutes for them to get a room opened for us and there was champagne waiting in our room( I didnt order it!) I thought that was awesome. The. Room was beautiful, and the breakfast was great. Definitely would stay again.
