“Albuquerque's Best Hotel”

Our stay at the Parq Hotel exceeded our expectations. It was a wonderful place to stay. The room was immaculate and kept that way. The staff could not have been any friendlier. Every staff member we met/passed was very cordial. The breakfast was very good and served several quiches each day. Hotel was located in an upcoming old section of town (downtown) and was in walking distance to several fine restaurants. Would stay again.

“Wonderful oasis in Albuquerque”

One of the best hotels I've ever stayed at: 1926 hospital building imaginatively recycled to a beautiful and comfortable hotel. Conveniently located to major highways and streets, clean rooms, beautiful rooftop lounge, free wi-fi, the best free hotel breakfast I've had anywhere, and a well-trained and helpful staff. This would always be my first choice and recommendation for Albuquerque. Only possiuble downsides would be lack of "southwestern" ambiance and swimming pool.

“Beautiful Hotel Convenient Location”

This is the second stay at this hotel. It is beautiful, clean, and the staff are extremely helpful. My only complaint is waiting to use the ONLY elevator. We resorted to the stairs several times when the elevator seemed stopped on other floors. If you don't mind waiting a bit, the amenities are worth it.

“PERFECT FOR OUR PURPOSES”

We drove down from Santa Fe to attend a concert at Popejoy. We enjoyed the view on the rooftop bar with cocktails and small plates. Then we zipped down Central to Popejoy. The hotel is right next to I-25 but our room was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. The included continental breakfast was great. Lovely landscaping and interesting architecture. There are several comfortable sitting areas and two computer stations in the business center. The elevator is slow but since we were on the second floor we just used the stairs. Would definitely stay here again.

“Lovely stay”

We loved the fact that someone had finally done something with this beautiful old building. The interior is contemporary, but comfortable with some clever interior design elements. The roof top bar is worth visiting.

“Super Pleased & Worth the $$”

Getting to see the newly remodeled building was exciting. The designers did a fantastic job at the remodel, thinking of every little detail, and incorporating the old with the new. The parking is a little tricky, but it's downtown--that's what you expect. Check in was easy-the gentleman even showed us to our room, pointed out the breakfast area, easy way to access the rooftop lounge (excellent view of downtown ABQ & the mountains, as well as great drinks and nice wait staff), the outdoor patio, fitness building, and where the complimentary gourmet breakfast was served. Our room was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and exceeded my expectations. The evening we stayed, there was a wedding reception going on, being held out on the patio & in the breakfast area...our room being right down the hall, on the same floor, I was worried the noise would keep us up, but it was super quiet. All in all, a really good stay, and worth the price I think. Great way to spend the first night of celebrating our first wedding anniversary!

“Lively, trendy, modern hotel experience.”

We have been intrigued by the renovation of this old hospital into a hotel for years - and when we were finally able to stay for a night we were very impressed. the use of the historic artifacts was modern and interesting and the rooms were very well appointed. Just a few things to keep in mind - there is no room service available, the continental breakfast is nice, but not gourmet, and you have to identify yourself as a hotel guest frequently. But overall, this is an amazing and unique hotel and the vies from the Apothecary Lounge are really spectacular!
