Great Uptown Albuquerque location.

Cons: It would be wise to flip the mattress in room 602. The right side of the mattress (as you face it) is depressed, compared with the left side.
As in the past, my experience was just fine, except for the mattress issue noted below.

Not worth the money.

On Expedia they did not list any pet fee. When we got there it was $75. The bed was very uncomfortable. Me and my girlfriend both woke up with sore backs. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off the wal and tile appeared to be very dirty. For a Hyatt you would not expect this. This place is not worth the money and will never stay there again.

Convenient Location

I used the 'unpunished rate' and saved $27. The desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. My CC magnetic strip is on the fritz and the receptionist offered to enter the CC number manually. The room was very clean, roomy, and accommodating.

Stay at ABQ Hyatt Place

Location: Walk to ABQ uptown shopping and restaurants
Hotel is pretty clean. Rooms are fine. Housekeeping had missed a prior guest's towel hanging in the closet, but when told, housekeeping quickly came by to remove it. Biggest complaint is that they don't have a simple black tea for tea drinkers. The English Breakfast Tea in the room was decaf, pointless for breakfast tea. At the breakfast bar there was a fine selection of Tazo teas, but again not a simple black tea that you would drink for breakfast. It really didn't matter though as I waited my entire time I was eating breakfast for the hot water container to be refilled, which it was not.

Nice room with a comfortable couch and tv

Room was nice. The couch and tv were the best part of the room. Morning clerk was not too enthusiastic about making us a cup of Starbucks at 4:30 in the morning. Hotel is a little old but overall a nice overnight stay.

Pros: Convenience to I40 and retsaurants
Cons: Spped of elevators
Location: shopping and restaurants
none just passing through driving to california i have nothing more to add here, we were at the hotel about 13 hours total. doughnuts at breakfast were greasy and unedible.

Nice place to stay, shop & eat!

My fiance and I were on a road trip and stayed here for New Year's Eve. The hotel was nice, clean and the staff was very friendly. The bar selections are very limited and I did not like that you could not order beer at the bar and take it upstairs to your room to drink (only in the lobby). It snowed that night so we mainly stayed in the room. I love that the area has sooooo many shops and restaurants that are all walking distance. Great place!

Good hotel, elevator is noisy

Cons: Fix the elevator noise.
The only bad part of my stay was that one of the elevators was extremely noisy when traveling up, and the whine could be heard all night long in my room, even though my room was 3 rooms away from the elevator shaft. Someone needs to fix it.

No Kings :(

The only thing that I didn't like about our stay is we reserved a room with a king, but when we got to our room there two doubles. We went to the receptionist and she told us all the Kings were full. Not sure if this was an issue with website or the hotel. I was really looking forward to stretching out in a king. Aside from that, everything was great. Breakfast was the best I've had at any hotel!
