Beautiful, but disappointingPosted Oct 7, 2013
Pros: The lobby is beautiful.
Cons: 1. Update the bathroom/shower. 2. Remove stains from carpeted areas (gross!) 3. Train restaurant employees on customer service.
Location: There's very little nearby.
The hotel lobby is superb, perfectly decorated with modern flair. The staff was friendly and helpful, although the wait to check in exceeded 15 minutes. The room was just okay. Having been a Hyatt Regency though, I expected more. The shower was old, and there were stains throughout the carpeted areas. The beds were small and the air conditioner just didn't cool off the room, even set at 65 degrees, resulting in a warm, uncomfortable night of sleep. We had a confrontation with one of the waiters at The Forque restaurant the next morning when he thought it was appropriate to argue with us that my breakfast was still warm enough to eat. After waiting for my eggs for over 30 minutes, I finally asked the waiter to check on my food. Of course, it magically appeared....cold. He was full of attitude when all he had to do was offer to fix it. I would have been fine to have had it reheated. What I didn't expect was an argument. He lacked professionalism and needs training in customer care. Overall, I will not stay in this hotel again, nor would I advise others to stay here. It is located in the fairly remote downtown area, there is extra cost for parking, the rooms are not that great, and the restaurant's lack of customer service is undesirable. Having visited ABQ quarterly for the past two years, anyone is better off staying in the Uptown area. Hyatt Place and The Sheraton are much superior to this hotel.

HYATT - very nice.Posted Sep 3, 2013
Location: Fun nightlife on Central.
Taylr at the front desk was helpful. Elevators to room floors and the parking garage were easy to find. Breakfast was delivered a bit late but was delicious. Low water pressure in shower.

close to downtown ABQPosted Aug 21, 2013
Pros: see above
the room was very clean and comfortable. king bed was so comfortable I fell asleep faster than I have in quite awhile. I stayed there because I attended my daughters last show, they are the guitar player and drummer for a popular band in ABQ (metal), in a local pub and it took less than 5 minutes to walk to it. very convenient. the staff was very friendly and helpful. great full breakfast included.

Friendly staff, great accommodationsPosted Aug 9, 2013
The staff were all very friendly from valet parking to check-in to the waitstaff. When we ran into the bartender later in the trip she remembered us and was friendly. We got great tips from the staff about what do and how to get there. The guys with valet were even funny and patient as we stuffed way too much stuff into our car to leave?

No free wifiPosted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
Wifi costs 9,99 per,day per device. This is a rip, off. Breakfast Buffett is quite limited . However location is good and the outdoor swimming pool is great
