This hotel is lovely -- very centrally located off of I-25 in the heart of Albuquerque and a minute from downtown! Very well-appointed guest rooms and common areas; gives the feel of being in a private residence with the small sitting areas on the first floor and the rooftop bar is stellar - great outdoor rooftop patio, also!
Plenty of parking around the hotel and the grounds are beautifully designed with outdoor seating (weather permitting) and water features. Only disappointment is that the bathrooms are showers only - but, the rest of the hotel's amenities certainly make up for it! I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE wanting to spend the night in Albuquerque.

I found this place because it was so well reviewed, I had a hard time believing a motel could live up to what I was reading, but I was quite pleasantly surprised. Kay and her husband are two of the most warm and welcoming people you will ever meet. We had booked a standard room, but they upgraded us to a suite for no extra charge, just cause they felt like it. The room itself was spotless and comfortable and quite roomy. Breakfast the next day was your standard waffle maker and cold cereal, but Kay had taken the time to also put out fresh boiled eggs and fresh cut up fruit.
I would 100% recommend this place to others. I'm really glad we unded up here instead of at one of the chains. The rooms are great and Kay and her husband will make you feel right at home.

We stayed in a room with one queen bed. The room was small, but it still had a small table with chairs and a desk and chair, as well as a very small fridge and a bathroom, and it did not feel crowded. Although it is a very old motel, and you feel you've stepped back in time to a simpler traveling time, the motel does not "feel" old. The furnishings have been updated and everything is very, very, very clean. What I loved most was having an assigned parking place two steps from the room door. The owners were wonderfully sweet and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. It is not a luxury hotel, but I have never received a better value for the price in any of my other travels. I will definitely be staying here again.

The hotel was easy to find from a major freeway. Offered complimentary happy hour cocktails to take the edge off our road warrior day of Denver to Albuquerque. Pleasantly appointed, clean and comfortable rooms. Hot breakfast with omelette bar, and any other choice that you might want from cereal to waffles, in a beautifully appointed dining room. Nice gift shop. Shuttle service to the airport.
