Great HotelPosted Sep 12, 2014
The hotel is above average. The room was noisy! The walls must not be very thick because you can hear your neighbors TV and even hear them talking sometimes. The balcony was a nice touch. The casino is like all casinos. They make it confusing to find your way around in the casino. Restrooms are few and far between. Of course the slots are very tight. If all you're wanting is a very good hotel then this is the place for you. Excellent rates through Expedia.

Nice pool, hot tub, and fun center!Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: I liked the little touches around the hotel (fresh flowers, advanced technology like high-definition flat screens and electronic do not disturb signs)
Cons: A free concert shuttle to the Isleta Amphitheater, the shower heads should be adjustable, and please separate the HVAC system from the Casino.
I really liked this hotel, the indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, and fun center were amazing. I also really like Embers Steakhouse and the Tiwa restaurant. The rail runner station is conveniently located close to the property. The bathroom in my room was very large with double sinks, a shower, and a whirlpool tub. I found it annoying that the shower head on the shower was not adjustable and was set up for a giant (I am 6'1). I also didn't like the no cooler policy at the pool and hot tub. My room had a cabinet for a miniature refrigerator but it was missing in the room I stayed in. The biggest problem with the hotel was that the entire placed smelled like cigarette smoke from the casino. Overall this hotel was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone in the area.

Holiday get a way,Posted Sep 5, 2014
Pros: We love staying there at least twice a year,The exibits of there Culture is the best.
Cons: The pool, I would love to stay in the winter but no indoor pool and thats one thing we look forward to.The pool righ now is indoor and outdoor in one.
Location: Ilove the location its away from the busy city yet close enough if you want to go.Its quite just a peaceful getaway.
We got there about 3:30pm on Sunday and we had to wait as rooms were not ready. We finally got checked into a nice very very clean room on the sixth floor. We really enjoyed our stay, we had a great time at the pool, we shoped and we ate at the BOW TIE that was good. The pastries at the Ice Cream shop there are to die for,we had different one on the days we were there and they were so fresh. Room service from TEWA was ok nothing special about the food it was ok. The employees in housekeeping are very nice they work hard at what they do.I would like them to be reconized like an employee of the month for that department only. We always think what a nice hotel and staff but we often forget why the Hotel is nice its people like Hosekeeping that make it nice for all of us to enjoy.

Very friendly staff and very cleanPosted Sep 5, 2014
Location: It was about 10 miles out of downtown Albuquerque which was not convenient. But the hotel had pools and spas and there were 2 lakes and a golf course.
The only negative was several children playing "pillow fight" until late night. Asked the parents to quiet down a bit and they stopped.

little secret stay away for the weekendPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: I guess I like this hotel almost everything. The only thing may be the location, it is so hidden, but it is just the way it is I guess.
Cons: Nothing need to be improved.
Location: It is actually in the middle of no where, but I guess it is just the way it is.
It is a very well decorated hotel, the lobby is so well designed. The rooms r so comfortable and 4-star expected. The pool is so well lit, and it is a very great pool with high ceiling, it is just perfect. Actually nothing I can complain about it.

Probably good for ABQ but not well runPosted Sep 1, 2014
Pros: Location, the building itself...
Cons: It needs just better management. More energy, personal attentive service, better food etc...
Location: We didn't stay long enough to say much about this. It's on a reservation some way out of town so there is really nothing nearby to be honest.
We didn't stay there for too long so I can't speak about every single area of service. We had just driven to New Mexico from Texas where everyone was so friendly. Here it was constantly as though serving us was a chore. The casino was lifeless, the poker room was unfriendly and the food we had was pretty terrible. I don't mean to at all rude to ABQ generally (we stayed there to visit BB locations obviously) but I never saw anywhere else my entire time there and thought "Oh wow I wish we'd chosen there". So maybe this is pretty good for ABQ. It does have a nice pool area and it was good to stay somewhere a little way away from the city centre. It is also a BB location in itself so if you're into that kind of thing it's great. Overall, it's fine. It's just badly run and managed and that's a shame.

Weekend GetawayPosted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Indoor heated pool, hot tub
Cons: Non smoking area to actually be non smoking. Better beds and attention to detail
Location: The isleta fun connection with bowling and pool table area
Booked the king executive suite. Room looked ok, but the bed was lumpy. Part of the window curtain hooks were broken which let the light in the early morning. Remote to tv was missing. Got one robe when we had requested two. We asked for non smoking room, but thr people staying in the room next to us were smoking making our room smell like smoke. The indoor pool was heated, and the hot tub was nice too. From the pictures i saw i was expecting a fancier hotel, but left feeling like it was just ok...

Over booked!!!Posted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: It's a nice hotel in general and all around.
Cons: Their customer service sucked this time around and no compensation or reduction for their mistake "just whoops" we are overbooked... Ugh!!!
So my wife and I reserved a king suite months before and we were excited for the local concert and a fun evening. The concert was great and hotel venue was nice. We got to the hotel to check in and learn they gave our room to another guest and only had a general room with two full beds. I paid 281.00 for the suite and wouldn't refund or compensate us. Very disapponted we accepted our faith and tried to enjoy the rest of our night. Unfortunately we were turned off by three unfriendly dealers who seemed angry - we stop gambling and went to the bar which was packed with only one bartender. So we waited 15 mins for our first drink and 18 mins for the second round. I've been to this hotel many times and always had a good experience but honestly this experience will send me to their rival Sandia.

Didn't have the room we reserved.Posted Aug 19, 2014
Cons: Compensating guest when their expectations haven't been met.
We made a reservation for a balcony room to celebrate our 18th wedding anniversary. Unfortunately, they didn't have one so they "upgraded" us to a room that was "double" the size. The only part that seemed larger was the bathroom. In the main room there was only one upholstered chair. We found it difficult to relax and enjoy our anniversary. Paid $200 for a room that wasn't what we reserved. I have to say this may be our last stay at this establishment. Disappointing
