Nice hotel dog friendly

Great! I love that it is pet friendly, but beds too small for two people. Rooms were clean and very nice and staff was great!! I would recommend the stay!

Carpeting buckled and felt damp. Not enough extra outlets to charge devices so we ended up unplugging lamps and clocks. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Creeps in this petty pace from day to day

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Cons: The breakfaset was exactly the same each day. Nothing hot (except toaster). Only protein was hard boiled egg and dairy (milk, yogurt).
Location: In the middle of road construction
OK Room. Good price. Breakfast a disappointment.

Nice for the price I paid...

Pros: Ease of access to north end, highway and midtown areas.
Cons: Complimentary fridge in room.
Location: Denny's across i-25 (next to another LA Quinta).
Lovely desk clerk, lobby. Not in an area where there were eating establishments. There was a lot of highway "remodeling" but was easily accessible during daytime. They did shut down the underpass one night and we had to drive in a large frontage road circle to get "home". The parking lot is a little tight and parking in rear is subject to delivery truck, trash trucks, etc, blocking the path. Entrance to the parking is a little bit of a hill, proceed with caution, as it seems to be shared with Baymont next door. Also, a u-turn will be required to get on highway. Room was nice enough. Little disappointed that there was no mini fridge. But we made due with ice machine and air cond! Pets are allowed...that can be a pro or a con depending on your viewpoint. There seemed to be several on the third floor with us but, they were not very loud dogs and were only seen. We didn't notice any noises, except trash truck early on Friday morning. It was a bit later on sat. But still a little loud. There is an outdoor pool with a good privacy fence, however, that does not block out eyes from higher floors of Baymont next door. We did not partake of continental breakfast, so cannot speak about its quality. I took a gamble on a discounted rate through a booking site and did ok, but I am not sure it is worth the full rate.

Family on smoking floor

Posted Jul 1, 2014
We were put on a smoking floor but our room was "non-smoking." I wasn't thrilled as we have an infant and an 8 yr old, but it was clean at least, which is more than I can say for our last La Quinta stay. After two nights in a row at La Quintas I can say I think we will pay more money for a more pleasant experience.

ABQ week of June 23

The only negative thing is the parking. The spaces are way too narrow. It also gets crowded at the front door sometimes.

I always book my stay at La Quinta when I travel but this hotel stay was not one of the best stays.
