Great backup view of Balloon Festival

Made last minute detour on our return from west coast to catch Balloon Festival. We arrive too late on Friday to get over to festival but were excited to find our room faced the event. Since it rained no balloons were inflated so we had great view of fireworks. Traffic was stalled on roads in morning so we enjoyed watching mass ascension again from our room. Special kudos to Tyler our bellman extrodinaire who seemed to be there for us 24/7, very helpful.

Good Hotel, but my reservation was disappointing. Paid for Conceirge room and did not get the floor I paid for.. And the Conceirge room was rarely open and nothing was complimentary. Hotel bar very expensive, but the location was pretty good to what we needed.

Thank you for your feedback. Please accept my apologies that you were not in the concierge floor, though I hope you found the room amenities for a concierge guest in your room. In regard to the concierge lounge, the access is through your guest room key. I am following up with the concierge team to see why you might have found it otherwise unaccessible. Balloon Fiesta

the stay was nice, the staff was great. Breakfast would have been a nice addition due to the price of the room. Other than that everything was great.

This used to be a very nice hotel

Pros: The location
Cons: The front desk personnel, the kitchen, room service.
Location: Balloon fiesta.
I had reserved a room with two queen beds but since that was only a "request" I received a room with one king bed and a fold out couch. I had to pay for Internet in the room (although I'm a Marriott rewards member ) because I booked through Expedia instead of directly with Marriott. I ordered room service dinner for myself and my 4 year old granddaughter. It took an hour and thirty minutes after I was told it would be there in 30 minutes. I wish someone would have asked me how my stay was when I checked out because I would have told them. They didn't ask.

Perfect for Balloon Fiesta

Great location for Balloon Fiesta. Bar and lounge food very nice. Bad meal in the restaurant but staff were very considerate and removed the charge. Any place can have a bad night. Their response was exemplary.

Perfect for balloon festival!

We'd booked months ahead but on early check in fpound our room view to be blocked by tall trees. The front desk searched for a higher floor and found us a better view. Unfortunately, a newer building blocks some of the view of the balloon field but that isn't the fault of the hotel. The room was nice and the staff was very friendly. We didn't eat there or use any of the other facilities. I particularly appreciate the free parking!
