Attractive hotel, but......

Posted Oct 20, 2014
Pros: I liked the d├ęcor, the beds, and the restaurant food.
Cons: I was disappointed with the lack of lighting in the rooms, the dated TV and the general lack of attention to detail.
Location: The Nativo has a great location close to I-25 and I-40, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby.
Nativo Lodge is beautifully decorated with Native American artwork, baskets and rugs. The staff was pleasant and the beds were very comfortable. There was so little light in our room, however, that it was almost impossible to read. The TV was tiny and looked as if it had not been replaced since 1957. We had to call twice to get washcloths and the hallways looked as if they could use a good vacuuming. The vending machine did not work. The restaurant in the hotel had very good food and we enjoyed breakfast and dinner there. We thought the food was over-priced for the simple fare offered, though, and felt that Nativo could please more of their customers if they cut back on their over-large portions and reduced the price accordingly.

Our stay at Nativo was...

Overall very nice.. The only bad part was the bed in room 313, it was sunken in the middle, we kept rolling into each other all night long. lol

Nice hotel, but noisy.

Posted Oct 14, 2014
Pros: The rooms were nicely appointed and the hotel staff were courteous and efficient. They were very clean.
Cons: Soundproof the interstate rooms to avoid excessive road noise in the rooms.
Location: It is located just north of the intersection of Interstate 40 and Interstate 25 and convenient to restaurants.
My wife and I stayed here for one night. The room would have been very good, but the road noise was too loud to sleep. There must not be any soundproofing in these rooms to avoid the road noise. If you decide to stay, try to get a room on the opposite side of the hotel away from the interstate traffic.

Mediocre

Rooms-comfy. Didn't clean daily. Killed more than one roach in the restroom, floors needed vacuumed, drapes were dirty and damaged, it was tolerable because of their location.

Beautiful native decor

Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: Comfortable room. Hotel is in good location and handy to attend the Balloon Festival and close to restaurants and shopping. Good restaurant and staff.
Cons: The tub drained slowly which I failed to report.
Location: Hotel is in a good location and handy to attend the Balloon Festival and close to restaurants and shopping. The tram is just down the road off I-25.
Attractive hotel with native Hopi Indian design and layout. Staff was all friendly. There was an incident of theft in the parking lot but we had no issue. The restaurant had good food. Would stay here again.
