On the road place

Need a place to stay and want it kinda cheap. You get what you pay for. In this case I paid more and got even less. Room was clean but the bed not comfortable, the shower leaked on the floor of the bath room. Had a small lake when done. One night was enough.

Beautiful, but poorly run.

The hotel itself is beautiful! It was like staying in a museum; the artwork is stunning and the architecture was pleasant. I was disappointed, however, with how it was managed. The pool was well maintained and appeared well sanitized, but I had to ask the front desk to have all the towels picked up and clean ones provided. After my first night's stay, the cleaning manager had insisted that I had checked out and that my room needed to be cleaned even though I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. Moreover, even though I had prepaid my stay, I was charged twice. No one was rude or unpleasant, rather, just very unorganized and management lacked communication within the various departments. I did greatly appreciate the late check-out time of noon, with the option of extending it to one o'clock. Also, the hotel is within walking distance to great coffee and fast food and within short driving to most attractions and shopping. Overall, once management gets their act together, this can be a great place to stay!

Pros: Everything

The hotel was beautifully decorated in its Native American theme.. loved it.. the wifi worked great, the kids loved the pool.. there was an onsite restaurant but we did not use it. I only regret we stayed only one short night there..

Overtaxed staff

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: Friendly, helpful staff at the front desk, cafe and bar, even woman letting people know the elevator was down. Great AC and shower water pressure.
Cons: Better lighting in rooms, Change the stair wells sterile unfriendly feeling.
Location: The Petroglyph National Monument and Old town are great places to visit.
My stay here was a mixed bag. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I had a short notice change and arrived very early AM instead of late PM and they were able still able to find a room for me and later I moved to a different room. The shower water pressure best I have seen in a hotel. The rooms were poorly lit. I found out a few days later that there were long hairs in my shower, def not mine. There was a hand towel with lipstick on it. The Elevator was out of order twice while I was there, once while house keeping was trying to move supplies to the various floors. The Cafe motion detector to alert staff of new customers was down two days. I watch one of the bartenders, Natasha cover the bar, cafe and room service all the way to the 5th floor. Fellow customers told me this is the norm rather than an exception, Way too much area for one person to cover and no bar back either. The bar and cafe areas were busy during all of this. This resulted in potential customer going elsewhere for service. A hearty Bravo Zulu to the staff but a C- to Management

Great view, nice ambiance.

I stayed with my kids as we visited Sandia peak. We drive here from out of state. It's decorated very interestingly and it's nice. I enjoyed the free cocktail and the bar area was great. The pool area is small but very nice and teepee was a cool touch. I liked our view out from the balcony and enjoyed a nice sunset. I walked over to Starbucks next door and watched the balloons come up. It was a pleasant relaxing atmosphere.

Good for the price. A little understaffed while we were there but the staff that were there were very friendly and helpful. A shuttle from Sandia Casino will pick you up and drop you off.
