close to everything and friendly

Pros: people and animal friendliness, and the atmosphere of NM heritage.
Cons: can't think of any.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. It is conveniently located to everything. Access to and from is easy. An urgent clinic right next door was a big help for me.

Most Awesome staff EVER! So caring and friendly!!
Posted Jan 15, 2013
The staff at this particular hotel were extremely open and went above and beyond to make our stay excellent. I have never before been offered a crib for my babies and, at the Nativo Lodge, this was one of their first considerations. I was not expecting such a friendly and welcoming staff. What a pleasant difference!!!

Funky Native American/ Mexican decor hotel
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Pros: Quiet rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff, no bed bugs! : )
Cons: Would be nice to have sinks in the bathroom as well as outside the area. When sharing a room it is a little inconvenient. Not an issue if alone .
Location: As stated earlier, it is well located with access to freeway and major streets. Lots of restaurants and attractions in close proximity.
I have stayed at this hotel before. Found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and quiet each time I stayed here. It is an older facility and could use some touch up with the paint in spots, but overal was well maintained. The bed was very comfortable. I did not eat in the dining rm or use the pool area so cannot rate those areas. The hotel is conveniently located and allowed easy access to sights and dining.

Nice hotel for the price
Posted Jan 11, 2013
Pros: Authentic decor
Cons: Cleaning and maintenance
Location: Great location
The Nativa is a nice place to stay for the price. It just lacks some basic maintinence and cleaning. Specifically the sliding door to the baloney would hardly work and the bathroom needed more cleaning as well as the vacuuming was sloppy. The staff were all very nice and food was good.

"Ambiance" not in step with price
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: Check-in staff was very pleasant
Cons: Dark/Dim lighting everywhere
Location: Central Location near some very good restaurants.
The Nativo Lodge presents itself as a themed luxury hotel. In reality it is in a very old building and the designers favored dim lighting. I felt as if I was in a cave at times. My bathroom's light never brightened (as most CFL's do) and so I showered in near darkness. The TV was also an old Sanyo number and made the digital HD channels look awful and cutoff. I guess I am most disappointed because I've stayed at Best Western's that were far more updated and less expensive.

Break from chain hotels
Posted Jan 4, 2013
If you want a break from the chain hotels this a decent choice BUT don't expect much. The front desk needs more courteousness to guest not be so casual.BE MORE PROFESSIONAL.

Love staying here.
Posted Jan 28, 2013
Pros: bed, style, cleanliness
Cons: all rooms should have microwaves fridges and more channels on TV.
Location: fine.
I go to Albuquerque about once a year, and I always stay here because its very affordable and so comfortable. The beds here are the most comfortable I have ever experienced, and i have a tempurpedic mattress at home! Try to get a suite though, because regular rooms don't have refrigerators OR microwaves.

Good value for the price

Pros: The southwerstern theme
Cons: Last two days of maid service
Location: Great location: at the intersection of two major N/S-E/W highways, and very close to Route 66.
Rooms are small, but beds are comfortable. The theme carries through from the lobby to the restaurant to the pool area: all decorated in the southwestern/American Indian style. It was a nifty place to stay and a good value for the price. Front desk staff was excellent - maid service was spotty. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others.
