Native lounge

Posted Sep 29, 2014
Pros: decoration
Cons: service, noise level, train the staff
The decoration is nice with some native elements, room was clean. There was too much noise from adjacent room service was poor, the staff are slow and inattentive. I went to the bar once and sat on a table for 30 min only to be ignored and went back to my room. the next morning they took half an hour to bring me a plate with two eggs and a piece of ham.

Pros: Convenient and nice restaurant, bar and pool/hot tub.
Cons: Newer carpeting would be nice.
Location: Yes, close by Cliff's Amusement Park, Zoo and historic old town.
Very nice stay, close to all activities in Albuquerque. Great staff, nice indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub. Nice bar and great "Happy Hour" drinks!

Pros: The Native American theme was magnificent with the Kiva lounge area authentic. Food was tasty and staff were amazing and kind to our granddaughter.
Cons: Nothing!
Location: We attended the NM State Fair.
It is an older hotel, but well kept. The pool has a tee pee close to it for fun and lounging..

Totally Awesome!!!!

Pros: It was quiet, the art work was wonderful. It had a very calming and welcoming felling to the whole place from the people who were welcoming.
Cons: Not one thing.
Location: The Lodge was near interstate 25. easy access and not far from the airport or the down town area.
What a great welcome I received from the staff at Nativo Lodge. I felt very welcomed and the staff went out of their way to make it a very wonderful experience. Would recommend this lodge to anyone as an awesome relaxing place to stay. I was treated like a family member coming back for a visit. In my book this lodge get to s a 20 of a scale of 1to 10. will stay there again.

It started out great...

We got to the hotel, in Albuquerque, in a nicer part of town, there were signs saying security cameras were in place, so we felt safe. The room was not sparkly clean, but decent, shower didn't have a real waterproof liner, so taking a shower flooded the floor. We went out clubbing, got back to the hotel at 3 am, between the hours of 3 and 7 our brand new trucks lock was punched and someone broke into it, stealing my purse, my husband's registrations for some trailers, and pretty much just tore everything up. We were the second truck to have that happen that night. The hotel didn't offer any comps, and admitted that although they have signs saying there is surveillance in place, there is none outside, only inside the hotel, so they can watch the employees and guests. I am totally outraged over it, they should have better security in a higher end place like it is. Also, it was misleading with the video camera signs so we should have been comped something for our trouble and loss.

Good location, fun decor

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at the nativo lodge for 3 nights. The hotel is clean, everything worked in the room and bath. Hotel restaurant has great service. A small bar is available for unwinding. The decor is pueblo art deco, something out of the 1920's. Very nice. Big wooden beams and aged/washed stucco walls with a 20ft tall shaman in the lobby.

Perfect place for us

We have stayed at this hotel every time we are in the area. It is in a great location for us, convenient to the rest of town and Santa Fe. Rooms are always comfortable and clean, and the staff is friendly.

Nice lobby..

The hotel has a nice facelift on the outside, but the actual rooms need improvement. Our first room had a broken toilet and a messed up ac unit - had to switch rooms. Second room ac unit also had issues - must have gotten them on sale at the same time....

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms was nice, clean, and quiet. The drinks at the bar we're great! I would advise against the restaurant though...the "Indian taco" was good but the rest was mediocre.

Average hotel in this price range.

Nothing special about the experience, but all the necessary bases are covered. The only (minor) negatives: Slow Wi-Fi (I was travelling on business so this was important) and terrible television picture on all channels (I typically only watch sports so no great loss on a Wednesday night).
