pay for what you get

Posted Jul 6, 2014
Location: Conviently located to the interstate and airport. Located close to Old town Albuquerque.
I took the chance and went with a cheaper option for hotel rooms this time and definitely got what I paid for. The hotel looks abandoned as you enter the premises, the curb appeal definitely needs to be updated, hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, telephones lines were down so I couldn't get the shuttle back to the hotel as arranged, and Wi-Fi was out when I needed to check in for my departing flight. Bed was comfortable and cleaning staff was eager to provide daily service.

Convenient location

Posted Jul 5, 2014
Pros: I liked the staff, helpful and courteous.
Cons: The aircondiitoning in my room was very erratic. Wish the temperature was a little more even.
Location: Quick meals and the drug store were all within a mile or two. Very close to interstate.
I was in Albuquerque for house hunting and found the hotel to be well located for my housing search. The hot breakfast was a nice touch. The staff were all friendly and pleasant, smoothing out some confusion about my reservation. Places to order in quick meals were great. There was a huge stack of restaurants in a book in the lobby with all the menus. Very easy!

You can tell that a lot of work has taken place, New carpet, New tubs, New tile, New wall paper, New toilet But old doors and windows, old bathroom fixtures. So good starts.

Pros: Close to the airport and Old Town .
Hotel was hard to find off I-25, tucked up on the hill. Pool was not in service when I was there and that was a disappointment as this was my last stay in New Mexico before going back home.

Noisy location near hospitals

Posted Jun 7, 2014
Great if you want to be near hospitals, but it is noisy as a result due to ambulances, helicopters, etc. Dangerous for pedestrians to walk in the area due to fast and busy traffic. Near the freeways, which is nice for drivers, though. Only good restaurant really close by is in the lobby of the Embassy Suites. Consider staying there instead.

Nice hotel with indoor pool

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: It was comfortable and big enough for all three of us!!
Cons: More towels and better soap
Location: The location was in the middle of town and close to everything, like the zoo, movie theater and such.
The stay was nice and my kids had fun because they love to swim. We could have used more towels and the soap was horrible, it was like using lava soap.
