“Nice place”

The staff were very helpful. The hot breakfast was fresh and the room where they serve it was clean and well stocked with supplies and different kinds of food.

“Great for the money”

Had a nice stay. The continental breakfast had more to choose from than most hotels I've stayed in. It felt like it was in a fairly safe neighborhood. The accommodations were as good as I could have expected for the price.

Loved my stay here. It is a nicely renovated place. Rooms have everything you need for a nice stay. Nice comfortable bed. Clean. I would stay here again no doubt.

“I booked a room for my next trip before I left”

The room was clean and comfortable. Yhe staff was friendly. The breakfast was very good. It included make your own waffles, juice, milk, coffee,eggs, cereal, fruit and pastries. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Albuquerque.

“Relaxed atmosphere”

Thank you Sandy for being the best front desk clerk anyone who is tired can hope for. We brought our motorcycles with us on a trailer and were expecting to deal with parking them safely. Not even a problem, we could see them easily from our window and we were never bothered by staff to park somewhere else. Clean pool and a hot whirlpool. We had a great stay and location was accessible to everything.

“Great location”

The Sandia was within walking distance of my daughter's house and is a great bargain. It is off I 40 and close to I 25. The Owl Cafe and Sadie's are close by for food along with a number of other restaurants down Eubanks. There is also a Target and Best Buy within walking distance. My daughter and her friend loved the pool. The breakfast was limited but sufficient and equal to most mid-level motel breakfasts. The rooms were nicely sized and cleaned adequately every day. I'd definitely stay here again.

“Inexpensive but comfortable!”

Sandia hotel was perfect for us. We had flown all day and arrived to find a comfortable room and bed. It was a clean room and although it was near busy road it wasn't noisy in our room. They had a great pool which felt heated possibly? and a great hot tub. The light was out in the hot tub and I mentioned it to the front desk and it got fixed promptly! The nightshift guy when we arrived was great and shared his map of local hiking trails with us and was super friendly and helpful! In fact, all the staff were really friendly. We stayed two nights at the begining of our trip and then when we were about to fly home we stayed two more nights because we had liked it so much. I would definately stay again if we go back to Albuquerque!

“cheap price but enough stay”

I stayed with my kids in this hotel. This hotel was enough for us. Kids love this hotel pool, and breakfast. They said we gonna stay again. Zoo and shoppong mall was not far and safety. If you don't care about fancy hotel, this hotel is enough for you.

“Excellent choice”

This is a new hotel and was clean and comfortable. The breakfast room ws kept very clean and had a good breakfast.

“Not too shabby!”

I stay in ABQ for a couple of days about once every six weeks, so I've had a chance to visit a number of different hotels. I have a few favorites, but if a 3-star or higher has a good sale going, I'll often venture out for something new. That was the case on my most recent visit. I arrived early in the day, but they gladly found a clean room for me. The hostess was very helpful and friendly. My room was clean and tidy, with a desk to get work done. I had no probs with internet speed, but the variety of channels leaves something to be desired if you're a movie-channel watcher. There were a few unsightly items, such as the sliding door, which was damaged from someone prying it open (still somewhat safe with a charlie bar that was barely hanging on#, and a number of areas that needed caulking or minor drywall repairs. The fitness room was bordering on useless, with only three pieces of equipment, and two of them with problems #squealing internal fan on the elliptical and a seat so loose on the bike that it felt like it would fall off#. All that being said, breakfast made up for a lot: tasty cheesy eggs w/bacon, biscuits & gravy, a waffle maker, and a cappucino machine. I thoroughly enjoyed both meals there as well as a very yummy dinner at the adjoining Mexican restaurant, Sadies. For a true taste of New Mexico, you have to try the carne adovada #sp?) burritos if you can handle hot stuff. In sum, the place is def in need of a makeover, but not bad at all, considering the price.
