Terrible experienced

Posted Jul 25, 2015
Carpet was dirty . Uncomfortable matters. Air conditioner not working, blowing hot air.. The continental breakfast only cereal to eat. Did not allow us to Take ice with us because machine was very old and will not make ice until the next day. Gave me a 15% discount coupon for next time. Wil not recommend red roof to a friend or consider spend another night at that hotel in Alburquerque Nm

Cheap Hotel - Okay for a Quick Stay

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: It was quiet.
Cons: The smell.
Location: Didn't stay long enough to explore nearby, but it's right next to a highway and the area doesn't feel very safe.
My girlfriend and I were on a road trip, and needed to stop for a few hours in the middle of the night to sleep a little. I wasn't comfortable leaving my car in the parking lot because it feels pretty sketchy outside. Luckily, nothing happened to it. There is a weird smell to the entire building, but it was tolerable for the price. The front lobby door is locked all night with an attendant at the front desk monitoring the place, so that felt nice. Complimentary breakfast is cereal, and do yourself a favor and skip the coffee. It's worth it to buy a dollar coffee somewhere else. Overall, I got good sleep and was safe despite how rundown everything felt.

The Undesirable side of Inexpensive

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Pros: Friendly reception, easy location to find
Cons: smell, comfort, aesthetics of hallways
Location: very near the EPLA limousine
Though situated immediately alongside the highway, it was surprisingly quiet in the hotel. The lobby was inviting and night reception was very courteous. Continuing into the hallway an offensive odor enveloped us which we only escaped when we reached our room, near the far end of the hotel's first floor. They claim to be renovating rooms, but the hallway has obviously not been tended to in years upon years. Dirty carpet, scraped paint, broken latch plate on the outside of our door. We stayed in a "renovated room" which was reasonably aesthetically pleasing for the price, but the mattress sets were low grade and the towels were thin, scratchy, and had at least one long hair attached. I dislike when the sink is in the main room and here, this was the case. The pool appeared nice, with a chair lift which appeared functional, though we did not use the pool. The business computer had no printing ability. Finally, the breakfast consisted of 2 sugar cereals, 3 choices of oatmeal packets, hot water, coffee, and a messy juice dispenser. Very disappointing when they advertised a "breakfast bar." I won't stay here again and I intend to sniff test inexpensive hotels from here on.

A pleasing out of the way motel

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: The price.
Cons: The pool area could use some improvements, and if security was available we'd have felt more safer.
Location: The location is right off the Interstate and pretty quiet.
Checking in wasn't a problem, we stayed two nights. The staff made it comfortable.

Ok place kinda seedy

Posted Jul 5, 2015
The exterior looks ok but the rooms are old and shabby. The bathroom doorknob was broken and barely holding on. There were tiny dead bugs in the bathroom. The faucet was broken in the room sink. The hallway smelled like pet urine.

The place was clean, but extremely hot. There was only one towel in our room for three people. When we asked for more towels they told us no. There were no towels for the pool either. The front desk man was terrible. Talking on the phone with a personal call when we came to check in and ignored us. He was very unfriendly.
