Trip to AlbuquerquePosted Oct 21, 2013
Pros: clean and new
The Hotel staff from the valet, bellman, to the hotel clerk were fabulous. The room was off the charts nice and large. We ate dinner at the Bien Shur. It was very nice and waiter knew his stuff. I will stay here again next time I am in New Mexico.

Very nice overall, staff, view, amenities.Posted Aug 9, 2013
Pros: obviously the views, sitting outdoors at the pool and cabanas
Cons: earlier check in times 4pm is too late to enjoy a good night and see everything Sandia casino and hotel has to offer
Location: North Albuquerque, not far from Santa Fe or Bernalillo
Loved it, beautiful views, wonderful staff and spacious room. Though we had a terrible view from the room the rest of the view outside of the hotel was spectacular

Sandia Resort is for the Lover in You!Posted Aug 2, 2012
Location: Beautiful mountains, cool evenings strolling outside.
We spent our anniversary at Sandia Resort, Albuquerque. You can't ask for a better place for dining, spa, dancing and swimming. It was a tremendous romantic interlude, and we heartily recommend Sandia!

Sandia is SuperPosted Jul 15, 2012
Pros: Friendly staff at every position
Location: A little hard to navigate to the front entrance but I was really tired.
I arrived at midnight because of a delayed flight. Every hotel employee was as courteous as if it had been 10 in the morning. From the valet to the front desk, each staff member had a smile and a welcome for me. Though I was there for sad business (father dying), my time at Sandia was an island of cozy comfort. I like their policy of reminding guests that they do not tolerate noise, and they say this so if a guest has noisy neighbors, then they should call the front desk immediately. The decor of the rooms is exquisite.

Great stop!Posted Mar 17, 2012
Pros: Friendliness. Light. Quality in decor. Food was good
Cons: There were none
Location: Easy to get to location. Phone directions were easy to follow.
We had a relaxing time - just what we needed. We spent just night traveling through but definitely would have enjoyed a longer stay.

Smoky atmospherePosted Jan 29, 2012
Pros: Lovely Rooms
Cons: Excessive smoky area in the lobby and casino area
Location: Just off the main highway not hard to find.
The hotel itself was superb. That being said, if you are a non-smoker as my husband and I are, but you enjoy gambling, this is not the place. Ventilation was terrible - non existent as far as we could tell. Even the non-smoking slot room was smoky. Some of the table gambling rules are quite different than other places we have been. If I were going strictly to gamble this would not be the establishment I would choose, despite the beautiful hotel. Front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful but can't say the same for the restaurants. Not overly friendly in the 2 restaurants that we ate in. One a "fine dining" the other a buffet.

Very nice facilityPosted Nov 3, 2010
The only "problem" was with the casino. The officiousness of the so called guards was extremely annoying. Okay, so there is no booze in the casino, but try walking in with a plastic bag from THEIR own gift shop and one is accosted and accused of having alcohol. Then, if you try to go into one of the bars, even just to check a game score you are CARDED when you are in your 60's. This is ridiculous. A beautiful hotel spoiled by little men and their self established authority.
