Convenient and safe hotel for single female travel

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: The customer service and room amenities
Cons: Waive $5 parking charge to guests
Location: Old Town, rental cars, airport
I travel to Albuquerque often, for business. This is a great hotel for single female travelers. It is reasonable, clean, and safe. I don't want to drive around at night, trying to find my hotel. This hotel is steps from the airport, has a shuttle, and ample parking for rental cars (I think the $5 charge for parking should be waived for guests). The hotel staff was very accommodating and willing to help me with luggage, directions, and room service. The room amenities were better than any other hotel. Toiletries, water, coffee, etc.

Horrible sewage smell

Posted Jan 30, 2015
This hotel was convienently located and hotel staff was kind; however the smell was awful. When I asked to be moved the staff only explained that during the renovations the plumbing wasn't changed. I had to reiterate that I wanted my room to be changed a second time before they allowed me to change rooms.

Stay for early flight out

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Location to airport
Location: Closest hotel to Albuquerque airport.
We recently stayed at the Sheraton to catch an early morning flight out. The room was comfortable, and well appointed. We appreciated the free bottled water! We used the shuttle from the airport, after dropping off our rental car, and to the airport the next morning. The drivers were prompt and friendly.

conveniently close to airport

Posted Jan 4, 2015
Pros: proximity to airport, cost
Cons: There is a small nightly fee for parking; it would be nice if this were waived for guests.
Location: This hotel is adjacent to Albuquerque's Sunport. The hotel is driving distance from Albuquerque's Old Town and BioPark.
We stayed in this hotel overnight so that we didn't have to get up as early the next morning for our flight. Checking in and out was easy, and there was plenty of parking. The hotel is also right across the street from long term parking for the airport. The room rate was very reasonable for the location. The room was surprisingly quiet, given how close we were to flight paths. We had no problems with the room. We would stay at this hotel again.
