“Stay here if in Alesunde”

Very new & stylish hotel in convenient position, very close to bus station & short walk to boat quays.Wonderful view from large room on 6th floor, with own balcony to enjoy it from. Very good breakfast . Coffee making machine in room, plus free coffee available at all times in lounge area. service was good & staff friendly.Were able to store luggage for more than 12 hours after checkout.

“Excellent location”

We picked the hotel off of Expedia and were very pleased. The room was small, but comfortable for our needs. The location was excellent for tourists without a car.

“Convenient Location”

We were upgraded to a premium room for our stay, which was a lovely surprise, though unfortunately the water pressure was appalling (I don't know if this was confined to fighting gravity from the top floor). The breakfast was great, and the location was really convenient. Unfortunately, the staff were not particularly helpful or friendly, and when we asked if there was a laundromat in town, we were informed that the hotel's drycleaning was the only option (which was very expensive). We asked the tourist office the same question, and were directed to a public laundromat. On another occasion, we asked about dining options around the town (we'd eaten at the hotel restaurant the previous night), and were directed to the hotel restaurant again. News flash: there are other great restaurants in Alesund! Great place to stay, but I'd recommend you direct any questions to the tourist office, and not the reception desk!
