When I arrived the front desk employee was sitting the lobby, and made a comment about not getting his full break. During the check in process he mentioned that he was sleeping on the couch the last few nights and his neck hurt. After I was checked in he said well I can finish my break now.
I was surprised to not find a hot tub, since when I booked online it said that one was in property. When it was mentioned to the front desk man, and asked if the hotel had any open whirlpool suites the front desk agent said well don’t u gave 2 queens? And that is going to be more comfortable sleeping than the sofa and a king and it’s going to be a significant up charge . I was then told if I don’t like it I could leave. About an hour later (around 7pm) the front desk person called my room and told me if I wanted to leave I could and I would get a full refund.
I left the hotel for dinner around 730pm and the front desk person was again in the lobby and it looked like he was sleeping.
I feel I could have been treated a bit better. The front desk person didn’t seem like he wanted to be there and wasn’t very helpful.
