Good breakfast.

Location: Runestone Museum.
I like the Country Inn because their breakfast buffet choices are superior to the usual in comparable places.

Pros: The breakfast was good.
Cons: The motel needs updating. The mattresses need to be updated-bathrooms need redecorating. Larger bath towels.
Location: The location was good and we enjoyed the area.
Overall it was okay, but expected the hotel to be in better condition for the price. It needs updating!

I am happy to say that our hotel is under renovation and will will be recieveing new beds, bedding and accessories very soon. We are in the process of up dating.

Nice staff. Clean hotel. Well maintained. Room was nice, roomy and great bathroom and vanity area.

Beds uncomfortable, pillows flat, blankets thin and not very warm. Hotel was nice, and staff was friendly.

Will not stay there again

Front desk staff was outside smoking when we were trying to check in. Women were in their pajamas at breakfast.... ???

This may seem petty...but we really would like to be able to watch Country Music Video Channel. That's the only thing I would add. Everything else was very good including the breakfast!

Solid, no-frills

Overall, a decent place to stay. All areas were clean, tidy and as one would expect a hotel to be run. The only reason this is a two star hotel is because of the quality of furnishings and build materials. Price was higher than surrounding hotels maybe due to the included breakfast. There are a lot of restaurants very close if choosing another hotel without breakfast.

Bad Beds

Worst motel mattress I've ever slept (or NOT slept) on. Staff assured us that new mattresses were in the works but that didn't help us. They were sorry but did not offer compensation.

I am sorry about the condition of your bed, and as I said, we are in the process of replacing our furniture and beds. I was unable to compensate you because the room was booked thur a third party. Again, I am sincerely sorry.

My room was clean and had everything I could need and more. The complimentary breakfast was also very good. It was also a quiet place to get a good nights sleep.

COLD

It was 15 below zero and they put us in a room on the main floor with two outside walls. It was ice cold in that room when we checked in, after turning the heat up we left for dinner and a movie, upon returning the room was still cold. We slept cold with an icy floor, miserable to say the least.

It has been a cold winter this year and I sincerely regret that you had this experience at our hotel. I have also had all of the heaters checked out and serviced so that we will not have a repeat issue with any of our guests.
