“Clean, comfortable, quiet room — great value”

Stayed two nights in December. Front desk staff was courteous. Room temperature was comfortable. Bed was clean and comfortable. There is a small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker in the room. My only quibble is that the wi-fi was very slow on both my laptop and iPhone, both of which are 802.11n devices capable of high-speed internet. I only needed to send and receive a few messages, so it didn't matter too much. I was on the first floor and did not hear any noise from bar/restaurant on floor below. Restaurant is accessible from stairway inside hotel. Bar/restaurant was good all around; friendly staff, good food, and pleasant atmosphere. It is suitable for families with well-behaved children. For families with children who need to run around and expend energy, there is a McDonald's across the street with a Playland. They have a continental breakfast available in a room adjacent to the pool and lobby area. Pool water and air temperature in pool area very comfortable. The Jacuzzi was great also. There is a Wal-mart nearby for convenient shopping and a Holiday station next to the hotel. I stay in hotels only once every couple years or so and my needs are simple. I just want a clean, comfortable, quiet room to get a good night's rest and this hotel did all that.

Beds were horrid. Did they even have a mattress or just a box spring. Horribly uncomfortable. Water temperature varied from hot to cold in a few seconds. One time for hot water I had to turn faucet right, the next time left. Continental breakfast left something to be desired. We went to the Holiday Station next door and purchased coffee and eats.
