“Excellent Hotel and adjacent shopping, entertainement”

Green Plaza Hotel was excellent choice. It is surrounded by shopping mall (open to air) and Cinema in addition to many coffee shops and resturant including Carrefour. The club room was nice, and food (breakfast in the lounge) was great. The only drawback is that after 2:00 a.m. the gate close to club room reception is closed and i had to walk long time to reach to my room. I will come back again.

“Old Hotel”

The hotel is very old and needs lots of maintenance. The facilities are not impressive at all.

“Avoid certain rooms!”

We made a last minute booking to the hotel after moving from another hotel that was not suitable for us. If you like everything under one roof the hotel is great, it has a massive shopping mall, with restaurants, a cinema and other form of entertainment. Unfortunately for us, our room seemed like it was directly above a night club that played music from 9pm to 5am every night, which was horrible! One evening I even requested for us to move rooms, they said that they would ask for the music to be turned down, which it was, but later it was turned up again. So avoid room 511! if you want some peace and quiet. Other than that we enjoyed our stay.

“A reasonably good facility but!!!”

The facility is good. However, the front desk staff couldn't find my reservation through Expedia and instead of helping me, he was quite arrogant and offered a room at regular price. I had to call Expedia from my cell phone and the Expedia staff had to call the manager who was quite polite and offered me a free upgrade of the room.

“NO POOL!!”

Room was fine but overlooked a building site. Pool was closed for maintenance and looks like it will be for some time to come. This was never mentioned and they are still advertised the hotel with 'a heated pool'. It is currently not true.

“The worst Hilton I have ever used”

This is got be the worst Hilton I have ever used, it in no way deserves five stars, I would suggest three. the location is horrible and noisy in the middle of a second rate shopping centre, the furnishings in the room were tatty and not to a standard one would expect in a Hilton. To add insult to injury on checking out I was overcharged and upon paying cash they didnt have any change!I will not be going back EVER as I now know there are plenty of good alternatives in Alexandria at comparable rates.

“Noisy and Dirty. Better off at a hostel.”

This property seems nice on the outside, and from the lobby, but the rooms are all rundown. The only difference between a plus room and a regular room is a leather chair. Further, the showers in all the rooms have filthy shower walls. You can see the soap scum on these walls, and the dirt and hair on the shower floors. If you are adventurous, bring sandals.
