Location: Near the shooting range and easy access to restaurants.
Hotel is old, but pretty clean. It is always busy, but surprisingly quiet when we have stayed there.

Wall in shower falling apart. Fridge ran but didn't get cool. Smell of cigarette smoke in hallway when just entering. Pool area was the worst. Pool is chipping paint. Grim for lack of better word all the way around pool. Sad because we use to have reunions here every November. Must update the place!

Only issue was the number of smoking rooms one has to pass to get to your non-smoking room. Once inside the room it was ok, but there was no separation by wing or floor. Otherwise, the lounge/restaurant/bar was great with excellent food and service.

Good hotel for a short stay

Pros: The pool area was a good place for hanging out with large groups.
Cons: The internet was very slow and the beds were not very comfortable.
The internet service was incredibly slow. Even when we called the support number that they gave us, it didn't get any better. The pool area was fine and stayed very busy. Our room was off the pool, but the noise wasn't too bad. The beds were soft and needed to be replaced, and they had a number of pillow types that were all uncomfortable.The restaurant was ok but not great. We were there for a family reunion and the accommodations were fine for the few days that we stayed there. More than two or three days stay might not be advised.

Pros: location very central great for fishing in nearby lakes
Cons: just the room as it was beside the pool area but the hotel moved my room when I addressed this

Great hotel. Only word of caution there are many rooms that look out onto the pool and activity area and this area is open till 11pm each night which means that if you have small chidren or if you want to get an early night you have no chance of doing so. Make sure you request a room that is completely away from the pool area and you will have a very nice stay.

If you are looking for a more restful area, I agree that being away from the pool and recreation area would be a better guest room. Easy, friendly check in experience. Warm chocolate chip cookie aroma was pleasant. was able to get into Fitness Center earlier than the 6:00AM Official opening time, thanks to a kind employee. 6:00AM would have been too late to get started there. Room clean. Bathroom door was in bad shape, but clean.

Disappointing for the price-

Location: great location-close to the freeway
For the cost of the room the condition of the beds and decor it was very disappointing. I will say having the restaurant attached to the hotel was the biggest plus. The food and service was outstanding! Would definitely recommend a remodel!!!

I was surprised to here you didn't care for the beds since they happen to be an item that gets the most consistent positive reviews. However, when it comes to beds, I do understand that everyone has a distinct comfort level and I am sorry you did not care for them.
