Quiet sleep, good internet, unfinished renovations

Posted Mar 26, 2015
I slept well. Though, I kept the room dark so as not to look at how hotel management was tricked by someone into thinking they'd finished renovations. Nice staff though.

Good value for the price

Posted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Value
Cons: Cleaner carpet
The first room we checked into smelled of cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. We asked for a different room and that one was fine. The rooms are reasonably clean and the beds comfortable. The carpet needs a really good cleaning. I had to wear socks on my feet to keep them from sticking to the carpet.

Quiet, a little bit out of the main stream but close enough to be ok.

OK for one night.

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: For the most part, it was clean. We just needed a place to sleep for one night, and that is all we got!
Cons: I wish the management would take care of the little improvements, like fixing the hinges on the bathroom door. And let us eat in the room!
Location: The hotel is right off of I-49 and near restaurants and gas stations. It is about five minutes from the main part of Alexandria (MacArthur Drive).
Our door lock did not work properly - there was something wrong with the card reader connecting to the unlocking mechanism and we had to practically bust our way through the door. The bed was comfortable and clean, but there was only one very small, flat pillow for each of us. The shower was great, but the door to the bathroom would not close because the hinges were coming off of the door jamb. The "breakfast" was very small and they would not allow you to eat it in your room.

On my short list of favorites!

Posted Jan 6, 2015 on Hotels.com
I found the front desk personel to be efficient and professional. The housekeeping crew were seen to be working around the clock and checked on me often during my two night stay. My room was very clean and very comfortable. I will use this hotel again as it is a great value and afforded me a comfortable stay. This hotel is moving in the right direction in that construction to upgrade rooms appears to be underway.

Very basic accommodations, but lovely wifi.

It was an okay stay. The hotel is set up more for truck drivers than business folks. With that said there was nothing terrible about it. It was just removed from anything really interesting and away from town. There was an odd thing that happened. Day one on my way out I encountered the cleaning crew. I told them to not make up my room. They asked if I had enough towels and I said I had enough for the next day. When I returned all of my towels were gone but my room wasn't made up? It was just odd and I was left with a single washcloth.

Staff does good job, but hotel needs updating.

Posted Oct 29, 2014 on Hotels.com
The staff was helpful and I think they try to do the best job they can do, but the hotel itself needs updating. The staff did something that was above the necessary job and it made my life so much easier. That was such a pleasant unexpected type of service. The breakfast isn't much, but again I felt like the staff did a nice job keeping it stocked and clean. Just felt like they didn't have much to work with.

Cheap hotel

I wouldn't want to stay for more than one night. It was stayable for just 1 short stop. The breakfast was horrible, some of the room had been upgraded and some of it was original.
