We loved the old escalator, the rooftop terrace restaurant and having booked a ‘direct sea view’ room we had a fabulous view from our hotel window of the sea and the historic Fort Qaitbay. Service was top notch from the moment we stepped through the front door and the food was excellent, too. We highly recommend this hotel. "
