Horrible stayPosted Mar 7, 2014 on Hotels.com
No service. No one answered any phone number (front desk, room service, bar etc) and we had to invade the kitchen to get burnt toast slapped with a slice of processed chicken (yuk). This 4 Star hotel is a fraud and I refuse to pay their bill. Stay elsewhere!

for a 1 night stay this hotel was adequetePosted Oct 18, 2013
Pros: nice views of the town, we stayed on the 9th floor :)
Cons: would be nice if it was a bit closer to the centre of town
Location: overall location is a bit out of the way and a cab to the centre of town is around 15 euros. there's a few outlet stores around the area, not many bar
Easy to find, with free parking. Hotel staff spoke English and very pleasant, although I only spoke to the receptionist. Was only there for a night so wasn't expecting much, pleased to say it was better than I expected though

good for coach tours and conferences.Posted Mar 11, 2013
Location: handy for motorway and south valencia
the reception staff were not interested in giving very good service. the indoor/outdoor pool was closed because the reception staff said it was too windy yet there was hardly a breeze. not enough staff only 2 people on duty to serve an alcarte menu and run the bar, which was full because of football on television and 3 coaches of people booking in.. the beds were very hard and the bathroom was rundown and not very clean. the worst best western i have ever stayed in.

Only an overnight stay but well worth the money, free wifi worked well, used the pool, gym and suana. Lovely multi-choice breakfast.Difficult to find entrane as the roads are not well marked. Free parking under the Hotel, staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a very good experience.

Getting tiredPosted Nov 27, 2012 on Hotels.com
The stay was fine but the rooms are tired and the breakfast was so so. Some of the hot food was cold and the food looked like it had been there for awhile . Location was good but that's about it .
Worst beds EVERPosted Nov 13, 2012 on Hotels.com
Staff good, breakfast good.room clean but window was broken which gave a draft and Internet was worthless and the beds were so firm I couldn't sleep all the week.will NEVER stay here again even if its free.

Stayed here twicePosted Sep 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
Located on the outskirts of town which might be a problem for some but we had a car and were just passing through. Checkin staff spoke excellent English. Free parking and Internet plus a very nice buffet breakfast. Clean rooms with very firm beds. A good value for the price.

Hotel we will avoid next timePosted Aug 21, 2012
Cons: Service and sanitation
Location: Best Western Hotel Albufera, outside Valencia, Spain
Front desk lied to us: we asked for a room on higher floors (It has 10 floors), but they told us no rooms on higher levels are available. As soon as we found broken mirrors and smoking stink in the 3rd floor room assigned to us, we went back to the front desk demanding a room for a 4 star hotel. They finally gave us a room on the 10th floor. During our breakfast, when my wife picked up a coffee cup, a cockroach ran away. In addition, carpets, furniture, and other things are worn out. For our 13 nights in Spain, we stayed 6 nights at American-run hotels (Best Western and Holiday Inn Express) and 7 nights at European/local hotels. Generally speaking, American hotels have a much lower quality and poorer service than comparable (3-4 star) European hotels.
