“Home away from Home in Portugal”

What a wonderful Apartment! Calling it a "hotel" would be an insult - it truly felt like a home away from home in Burgau. From the moment I arrived & met Miguel the proprietor, during the World Cup, with the other guests in the bar watching the games play, it just seemed friendly & welcoming. His attitude, his willingness to help, the wonderful service & staff, a personal walk-through of the apartment & the delicious food just made this place perfect for my time in the Algrave, Portugal! The view - AMAZING..every room has a terrace overlooking the coast, beach, ocean and small village of Burgau. The pictures are accurate as can be, the sounds of the town and waves at night were incredible and the rooms, glass doors, full- use kitchen, living area & bedroom were wonderful. Parking was a small bay directly below the apartment itself (albeit the access is a steep drive with a manual car rented took a skilled driver ALOT of finess to get in & out...however you can park just up the road with no issue except the hot sun!). I can't say enough great things about this place - his wife and older children were there helping everyday making it feel more like you are a guest in their home instead of a vistor staying for the weekend. The other guests I spoke to have been returning there for literally YEARS, some over a decade, to these apartments for their holidays. That says so much in itself. You arrive as a guest, you leave as a friend feeling as if you are leaving a bit of home behind
