“The apartments are fantastic!”

Having read fantastic reviews before arriving at the apartments, I was a little aprehensive as whether they would not live up to my expectations. I am delighted to say they more than did this, the apartment we stayed in was a 2 bedroom ultra modern with beautiful leather suites, with not just 1 but 4 flat screen TV's, and you could watch a different channel on each, very handy when you have kids! The kitchen was well equipped, including a dishwasher an the bathrooms (we had a fantastic ensuite with a jacuzzi bath), both had lovely toiletries, and all 4 of us were supplied with robes and slippers. The pools were very clean and the gym bright and airy with all the latest equipment, which encouraged me to work out before breakfast every day! Restaurant a litte pricey, but food very nice. The staff were more than pleasant always with a smile and very helpful. The play area for the children is also very good and although we arrived just as they were closing, they allowed my daughter to enter and play for awhile. Would certainly recommend these apartments and will definitely return one day.

“Relaxing in Vilamoura Hilton”

Spent two days at start August 08 in As Cascatas Aparthotel, which is part of Hilton Hotel Vilamoura. I stayed in a two bedroom apartment with my wife and daughter, and was amazed at its size, comfort and levels of equipment. It contained a fully equiped modern kitchen, spacious lounge with 40" TV, one ensuite bedroom, another bedroom with separate bathroom, and a large balcony. TV's seemed to be everywhere. With such a short stay we just used the facilities of the Hilton hotel to eat and drink,and had choice of fine dining or snack bar.The levels of service were very high and staff extremely efficient and friendly. Nothing was a problem, and my requests were handled with gracious ease. There are two large pools in the complex, but if you prefer the beach, a transit service runs to the Hilton private beach, which has its own bar and cafe. You don't need to carry cash to the beach, just charge to your room. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable short break at Hilton Vilamoura.

“Great apartments”

Excellent service and facilities throughout,availabilty of taxis could be an issue during busy periods if you want to get around but do not want to use a car. For self catering, the apartments are top notch but 10 min walk to nearest supermarket. Kids loved it( though too easy to watch tely- we had 4 flatscreen telly's in our apartment). All staff very helpful. Food pricey ( esop for kids ), so if self catering kitchen will have everything you need.

“Luxury Contemporary Apartments - planning another trip already with my family”

We were looking for an apartment as we have a 1 year old and needed a separate living area and cooking facilities. The apartment was very suitable for a crawling child and the balconies were safe. The adventure playground was brilliant, parents are able to go into the Paradise club playground and supervise under 4's. The apartment was fully serviced, it was great to have a maid come in and empty the dishwasher and clean the apartment. The decor is very contemporary, we loved it. The bathroom had a jacussi bath and our baby was even given his own bath robe. The only down side for us was that they ran out of high chairs and we only got one on the last night, thankfully we brought a cloth travel one which meant we weren't completely stuck. The local supermarket by the marina 'Jaffer' has everything you need. My one year old loved the Nestle baby milk and the jars of food. There is a bus to the beach but we didn't use it we drove - it is only 5 mins away. The complex has 6 pools. 2 baby paddling pools and an a covered pool which is heated, you can access this from outside so you can sunbather on your sunlounger and then wander to the pool, which was great for us, as we thought the main pools were too cold. The breakfast and evening meal buffets were superb. However, there is no room service so you need to cook if like us you didn't want to venture out once your child was asleep.

“Five Star Appartment”

Stayed in a two bedroom appartment. The quality was excellent from all perspectives. We had three balconies, four TVs, a lovely lounge, excellent bed linen / towels, well equipped kitchen - everything you could want. They supplied a nice travel cot, and high chair for our baby and even a baby bathrobe, which was very cute. The use of the Hilton hotel's pool complex, and beach facilities was great too - there were about five pools and a nice reserved area at the beach (with towels provided) making this very stress free. The only downsides were: * Food at the hotel was five star priced - 40 Euros per head for buffet dinner, 5 Euros for 1.5 litre bottle of water. This wasn't a big deal as eating out the marina in the evening was lovely, and somewhat better priced. * We found the mini-bus to the beach a bit unreliable (too many people, not enough room in the bus) - so we tended to use our hire car instead. This was not a cheap holiday, but for us, we did get what we paid for. The weak pound to Euro right now, makes anywhere in Europe feel a bit expensive, and this did hurt! However, bottom line, we would definately return if we could.

“One of the best places I have stayed”

Had a 2 bed apartment which was very spacious and modern, kitchen was better than my own! the apartment was cleaned every day and a supply of fresh towels and bedding provided several times during the week we stayed. Resort facilities are good, spa excellent, would come for a long weekend break just for the spa facilities. Courtesy bus pick up every half hour from the hotel and takes you to the beach, where you have the hotel's beach hut for towels and shower facilities, also collects you from the beach and back to hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Restaurants a bit on the expensive side, especially if you have children with you, although a very good selection of dishes. One of the best places I have stayed to date

“Hotel makes up for torrential rain!”

Fabulous hotel, new and contemporary style decor. We had a 2 bed, 2 bathroom apartment with flat screen TVs in every room! Watch the one in the kitchen though, as our boys turned it on it went straight to hard core porn!Very well equipped. We arrived much earlier than the check in time so our appt wasn't ready but we were able to upgrade to a pool side apt and get in staight away for a small supplement. Breakfasts to die for but pricey and inconsistencies regarding whether our 12 year old should have paid or not.Great omelettes and pancakes. Good thing was that breakfast went on till 11.30 so you could make it "brunch" and not eat again till the evening. The Marina is about a 20 minute walk away through the high rise of Vilamoura but the hotel provide a free bus service "downtown" in the evening.If we had been staying longer than 4 nights, we would have wanted to hire a car to get around a bit more.Only drawback was the awful weather and the substandard tennis courts

“Very impressive apartments”

very impressive apartment, the best I have stayed in. Hotel and apartment facilities very good - needs more sun loungers etc (usual gripes) is a fair walk to the harbour - longer than 2klms stated, its about a 30 min walk. Although the hotel shuttle service to beach is very good getting back in the evening is a real pain - at least 30 mins in a cab queue

“Top Class Apartments!”

Although not owned by Hilton, these apartments are essentially an integral part of the 5* Hilton Hotel complex, only have their reception at the opposite end. Couldn't fault them. Spotlessly clean, reasonable breakfast (at the Hotel), very modern and furnished to a high standard. All towels and 5* toiletries included. Great sound insulation. Silent effective airco to all rooms. These apartments really are 5*, but note that the drinks and food are 5* prices too. Free shuttle to beach and marina.

“Restful with the sun”

Superb apartment next to the Hotel although a little walk from the beach the settings are beautiful the promotional price was excellant could have stayed a lot longer.Pools were lovely and well looked after.
