“A second visit - just as good”

Second time visit. Complex excellent with 6 swimming pools, golf course, golf driving range and Tennis course. Near to shops and bars but not too close. A great family holiday location.

Only thing was that the staff needs to work on their customer service a bit. Cabs weren't that easy to come by at times either. Overall...super great place to stay!!

“A great family holiday”

Had a wonderful family holiday at the Balaia Golf Village. There were five adults, so plenty of room for all of us in our two bedroom apartment. We found it handy to walk to the beach and also restaurants were within walking distance. Restaurant at the resort was also excellent. We did however have a rental car so we could do some touring around the Algarve. Also, took the day bus trip to Lisbon, which we booked through Expedia as well which was great. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone.

Beautifully kept grounds, apartment very spacious and well equiped. Well maintained pools - children tried a different one each day. Away from the hustle of the bigger resorts, beach only 10 minutes walk. Restaurant a bit pricey but good quality.

“Just as good second time around”

We returned to this complex, after spending a happy week there last year. This really suited our needs - a very lazy holiday, with enough to do if we felt like heaving ourselves away from one of the many pools (which we didn't,much). The apartment was lovely, and the complex is great. As we said last time, if you wanted a holiday within a complex with a number of restaurants and some on-site nightime entertainment, maybe this isn't for you. If you want a relaxing break, it is.

My family and I recently stayed at this hotel, and would certainly stay again. We stayed in a lovely location within the complex - with beautiful gardens, and the swimming pool was just some yards away. This venue would be suitable for all - from the older adult to families with teenagers and younger children. The cleanliness was first rate (which is very important to us), and the facilities within the apartment were good. The location is very good if you have your own transport - not sure about shuttles or taxi's. Enjoy your stay - we did!

a group of 5 friends stayed here in May 2007. There was pleanty of room (the lounge has a sofa bed) and everything you could want if you wanted to cook. We went out and asked reception (very helpfull) to get a taxi for us, which was only about 6 euro's into Albufeira. The complex has many pools which are all very nice and have loungers. We played golf twice on the 9 hole course which was very pleasureable. The rooms could do with slightly more comfy beds but that is a very minor point (and subjective) as there is everything you could want in the apartment. There is also a small gym and indoor pool. 15 min (down quite a steep hill) to the beautiful beach, which had a fantastic restaurant. We all very much liked this resort and if the world wasn't so big, would definately go back!

“We keep coming back!”

This was our third visit to the resort, and as usual, we weren't disappointed. It's amazing value for money, and the resort is so well designed, with all the different pools. The thing I hate most on holiday is not having a sunbed, and that is never a problem here. The apartments are very comfortable. Best for families with children as it is fairly quiet, but our 16 year-old still seems to enjoy himself. If you are looking for a relaxing holiday with plenty of sunbathing, lots of pools and really comfortable apartments, I don't think you can make a better choice. If you want something adventurous and active, however, this might not be for you.
